StyleWell Ingraham Cream/Blue Distressed Medallion Area Rug. The rug has a traditional design that will blend in a formal décor as well as a more relaxed décor. 5-foot x 7-foot size covers a nice area so if you use on a wood floor it may be all you need for decoration but if you have a larger area you can use as an accent. Nice rug, durable nylon construction. Vacuum regularly and spot clean. Rotate periodically to preserve style and colors. You will probably need a rug pad to use on the floor.

Pros Great Accent, High Quality of Material, Looks Great, Looks High End Cons traditional

This is an incredibly flat 5x7 rug with almost no pile. The weave that does exist in the rug is extremely tight. This does mean that it sits flat on the floor and is very easy to vacuum. It has a good feel, and a surprisingly soft touch for being so thin. The back has a vinyl layer attached, and is sewn to the edges. I would be hard pressed to see how you could easily get a run in this rug. It should last you a while. The rug has strong colors, along with a purposeful slightly faded/distressed look. This could be good or bad depending on your preference. I happen to think it adds a touch of class. It fits nicely if you want a more distinguished and authentic look.

I'm delighted with the Stylewell Ingraham Cream/Blue 5 ft. X 7 ft. distressed medallion area rug, Ivory. It is absolutely beautiful. The pattern and the colors go perfectly with the farmhouse style decor. I have this rug sitting on top of my tile floor. I used a rug gripper so it wouldn't slide around. The rug is thin and the back of the rug is lined in a nice grey cloth which would make this rug perfect for sitting on top of carpeting. The colors in this 5 X 7 are cream and a couple of shades of gorgeous blues. The size is a true 5 X 7.

This rug is surprisingly lightweight and easy to carry around. It took a day or so after unrolling to lay flat. The bottom doesn't slide around on our hardwood floor. The pattern is not printed, but woven into the design, so I don't think it will fade quickly like the printed rug it replaced. There is a touch of light brown on the mostly gray-blue pattern, so it fits in with our tan sofa.

Pros Looks Great, Light Weight, stays put on floor

The color of this rug looks better in real life than it does in the photos online. It is the perfect size to fit under my sectional. It will go with most modern decors. The rug is pretty thin and I typically like a more plush rug but this one will do the job. It does vacuum nicer than a plush rush but it’s not as comfortable to sit on although on thanksgiving we had a few on the rug and they said it was fine.

I have to give this rug a less than stellar review. I suppose the quality reflects the price, but as you can see in the photo it has a very cheap backing that appears to be glued in place, rather than sewn. I don't think it will stand up to any kind of steam cleaning, which is what I would want it to do when I have professionals come to clean. The pattern seems like it might be dyed onto a neutral rug rather than woven with different color yarns. It looks like a blurry photograph. This is a very thin rug that has the appearance of something made in a hurry. Even the binding needs to have the end trimmed off to make it look finished. It looks alright now, while it is new, but I don't have faith in it's longevity compared to other rugs I have purchased

Pros Comfortable, Easy to Install Cons looks cheap

The Stylewell Ingraham Cream/Blue 5'x7' Distressed Medallion Ivory Area Rug is a very nice small sized piece perfectly suited for our front entry hallway. A new grey color scheme for the walls of our foyer and living room dictated the replacement of our existing rug (not that old or aesthetically incorrect if you ask me but what do I know?). The interior designer (wife) deemed change to be mandatory and so it has come to pass. The rug is a machine woven nylon fabric. It has a pleasant mildly distressed look ivory and grey monochrome Persian style with subtle blue highlights. - quite nice to my untrained (again according to our interior designer) eye. In my opinion it is a little pricey at $99 but I guess part of what you pay for is the contemporary look. The backing is pretty flimsy - time will tell if it is up to the task. The pile is a bit thin both in density and height (1/4" or so) but it does not detract from the rug's overall appearance. It will definitely require and anti-slip mat on hardwood or tile floors. None of these shortcomings are deal breakers for me though - I like it.

This is a decent sized rug, depending upon your application. It has a nice color scheme. It is not a shaggy rug nor is it a very thick rug. It is soft to the touch unlike some rugs of similar thickness marketed as indoor/outdoor. When lying/sitting on it when it is on a hard surface it is easily determined it is not a very thick rug. Padding could be placed under it to make it more comfortable. The back of the rug is very smooth compared to other rugs that are thicker or more carpet-like. Carpet or carpet-like rugs have a very rough back side. Because this is smooth, on a tiled floor it seems to slip/slide easier. It arrived rolled and protected in clear plastic. Since it’s lightweight and not very thick, the ends took a little effort to get them to lay flat. It didn’t take long to get it to lay fairly flat but just a slight curling to the corners remain after a few hours. It has a nice pattern. If you’re looking for a thick or padded rug this may not be for suitable.

Pros Great Accent, Looks Great Cons takes mild effort to lay flat, very thin and noticeable even when standing on it, may need something underneath to prevent sliding

We’re very excited about this rug. Firstly, I grew up working with fine antique textiles like handmade tapestries, oriental rugs and flat weaves. We still have many of them in our home. What attracted me to this specific Distressed Medallion Area Rug is that the colors, pattern and texture of the pile work perfectly with our existing pieces. That is primarily because this rug has an incredibly authentic vintage patina look which is exactly what is so desirable in the fine original antiques. But this rug is not just old school traditional, it also fits in perfectly with contemporary or modern eclectic styled rooms and color palletes. I can honestly say that the designer almost perfectly nailed it with this rug. In fact, if the rug had a tattered old fringe, it would easily be mistaken for a high end antique. Fortunately, this rug has four bound edges and does not have a fringe. In our home, that is a very good thing as the fringes usually get twisted up or sucked up into the vacuum. Another thing we really like about this rug is that it is brand new, clean and affordable. I mentioned that WE were excited, but that translates to my wife is thrilled to be changing things up a bit and getting a new look in our library. She is having a ton of fun putting the room together exactly the way she wants it to look. This Distressed Medallion Area Rug is the focal point for the design of the entire room. Unfortunately, the new furniture and paint are not in the room yet, but they are on the way!

I didn't balk when my wife suggested that "we" needed this area rug. We had gotten area rugs from the Home Depot in the past and all have been of the highest quality. This one is no different. The low nap makes it easy to vacuum. The color perfectly matches our Husky's fur, which is self-explanatory, and particularly important since that is her new, favorite place to plop. The neutral color is a perfect match for any decor. So, again, she was right!

Pros Easy to Clean, Easy to Install, Great Accent, High Quality of Material, Looks Great, Looks High End, my dog thinks it's comfortable
