Very pleasing to the eyes and fits our room wonderfully. Heats up the living space we wanted perfectly. Easy to assemble as we just had to attach the 4 legs. We love it!

Great little unit, looks great, works great, only problem I have with it the legs are cheaply made, one was broken when it arrived, had to fix it myself

I have used electric heater stoves for decades, mostly Dimplex and after our heater went out after nearly 20 years we tried this one because of the "panoramic" view of the logset. When this heater/stove arrived i noticed it came in a Hampton Bay box. I set it up and turned it on. The flames looked pretty good but the logset looked washed out, a pale yellow like. And the view from the sides were really looked fake. The heater was no better. To start i set the heater control all the way up until the room temperature increased then turned it down until the heater went off; the manual did NOT give any real initial operating instructions, it just says, "Temperature Knob: Toggle the Temperature Switch ON, the Temperature control knob regulates the temperature level of the room. The further the knob is rotated clockwise, the higher the temperature setting. Turning the knob counterclockwise will lower the temperature setting. Use this function to help regulate the ambient temperature level." The heater never came back on until i turned up the control. Then it never turned off until i turned down the control. About the construction; the sides, back and front, which is mostly glass, is metal but the rest is plastic. Needless to say this stove went back.

I've had two of these stoves. Both suffered from the same defect - faulty thermostat. If one turns the thermostat up high enough just so the heat kicks in the heater will never go off. By the same token, if one turns the thermostat down until the heater just goes off the heater will never come back on. Completely unacceptable behavior. The Home Depot rep offered to call the manufacturer for me and tell them my experience which I very much appreciated. However, the manufacturer rep was extremely condescending and of no help, saying at the end "Well, if you don't like it take it back to Home Depot". I not only would not recommend this product but I would advise any and all not to buy anything made by this shoddy manufacturer (Hampton Bay).

It was delivered on time and is a Christmas gift so I have no further comments at this time.

Didn’t know parts were going to be plastic. It said it was metal. The heater I thought would be stronger.

Met expectations, except the fan is not as quiet as we had hoped - we have another little one, different brand, but it is very, very quiet.

Made of plastic. Came with two wrong legs. Blower/heater at bottom of unit not a good design, in that it heats surface below. Very poor value/product for this price

I bought this just for the looks so I can't comment on the heating function. And unless a freak blizzard pummels central Texas I probably never will. But the overall appearance and flame effect is great!

Came with 2 wrong legs, but Home Depot sent me the correct legs with an easy phone call. Really like it, looks like real flames.

It is just average as far as I can tell. It doesn't heat super well, it does have a fan noise, it is just ok considering the cost.

The one I rec'd has a normal two prong plug that gets warm when using to heat. I wanted a heavy duty three prong plug

No assembly, just attach legs. Quiet. I love the fire without the heat. The heater works great. It was a little beat up when it arrived, but nothing that would affect the look or functionality of the heater. The heater box was a little bent, but they sell those separately.

Love the look of this fireplace but also love that it heats up my bedroom quickly.

Very nice looking unit and a substantial size (other look-a-likes seem quite diminutive to me). We use it to warm the waiting room in our medical office that is bordered by all glass windows. It has heated that room very well and looks very nice doing it. Highly recommend!

easy to put together. but heat won’t stay on no matter how high the setting. runs for about 30-60 seconds and stop. tried to pull away from the wall and same issues. called manufacturer, and they said they can only send parts. and i now have to bring it back to the store, which isn’t close.

It does not nearly heat 1000sq ft It barely heats a small bedroom. Probably 300 sf

It was okay, but the legs are not sturdy and the holes to screw them in weren't made to fit and align. It provides very good heat. It would be better if it had rollers instead legs. It would be easier to move.

Set up very easy. Looks like real fire inside. Heat the room I have it in very well and make the whole house feel warmer because of it. Really glad I purchased it.

I love this little stove! It puts out good heat and I love the "flames". It is also more substantial, with the height, than other stoves I have looked at. I know it will look even better if I ever get the mantel surround completed (with the help of Home Depot ;))

Expected more heat from this unit. Looks nice but delivers minimal heat output for even the tiny room it's in. Purchased as a replacement from a prior Hampton Bay which lasted a few years and seemed to perform better by providing more heat. Feel like we wasted our money this time around.
