I purchased one of these about 8 years ago and love it! It does the job it's supposed to do and is easy to handle, and light weight. I wasn't sure about purchasing a electric tiller, but boy did this machine make me a believer! The price is also pretty low, so grab one and go!!! You won't be disappointed!

Very good for a small garden and more than enough power!

The Sun Joe electric tiller turned out to be Better than expected. A lot of torque to get the job done. I used it to till up an are to put stone pavers down and it did the job well. This is great for small to medium jobs around the house. It's light weight and easy to store

I bought this for my greenhouse I didn't need anything huge, however I ended up using it as well outside in my garden, the thing is a monster. It worked better then my small gas powered one. its for medium to light jobs, but I wouldn't suggest if for huge jobs that need the rear tine gas powered huge ones. However I was more than pleasantly surprised. Great deal.

Sun Joe cultivator worked for 15 seconds before it broke. Customer service told me to contact Home Depot. I won't buy from Sun Joe again.

It came in on time but we won't be using it until spring

I was able to test out the SunJoe 16" 12 amp only twice. It went through the grass and clay and hard dirt like butter. I and my family loved the way it was easy to use. The safety switch is nice, it cuts out fast when motor is disengaged. Assembly was a snap. It took very little time. I tilled up an area about 4'x 6' in around 25 minutes. I tested the tines and kept it to around 6" deep. Not only it took off the top layer of grass it cultivated it right into the soil and clay. It turned the clay and hard dirt into a fine texture. I will enjoy this machine when planting season comes around. I am 66 years old and I find the Sun Joe was enough power and a tough machine that did not put a real strain on my body.

Used this tiller to cultivate and expand my garden to a 12' x 16' size. I was very impressed with how this unit worked; I truly don't think a similar sized gas unit would have done better. It broke up the expanded hard packed soil area and then tilled it to fine grade soil. It handled the stony / rocky soil very well and I removed a third of a wheel barrel load of stones. I added leaves that I mulched with the lawn mower and the tiller blended them in with the soil. I had nothing negative and recommend.

Great tiller for the price. A little light, so if the soil is tough you have to go over it several times, but overall it's a great deal and works well.

Needed something to break ground that had been covered over with grass, did exactly what I needed.

Have had this for 26 months. Only used a few times. Motor brushes wore out. Called customer service. They said they don't have a part number for brushes. Told me if it was still in warranty they would send me a replacement. It is 2 months past warranty, so guess I'm screwed. Any suggestions to finding brushes would be a great help.
