Thieves melted through the plastic hinge and stole our tools. Plastic sheds are a good deterrant but not totally secure.

I used mine for a Generator back-up shed for my home, really made this shed to hold up against the heat from the generator, and it preforms great. When Temperature goes above 90 degrees, fan comes on and pulls cool air thru window to keep the shed and generator cool. Works Great.

The hinges on the doors are very poorly constructed. They broke off during assembly. I returned the product but not before sending them an email to which they replied but only weeks later. Poor product and poor customer service.

Purchased 2 of these sheds almost 2 years ago. For the price, these have been a good solution for storage of our lawn equipment, lawn chairs, generator, etc. The plastic is holding up well so far here in the Houston, Texas (we are located more than 60 miles from the coast though) heat and humidity. What is NOT holding up well are the metal parts and pieces of the unit. The door hinges have completely rusted out and are falling apart. The metal brackets for supports are beginning to rust where the screws attach them to the panels. The lid hinges are beginning to show signs of rust as well. It appears that the paint application to all of the metal parts is lacking in adhesion, especially where any fasteners attach to the panels. I have sent a message directly to Suncast with a request for replacement parts under warranty. Let's see how well they stand behind their product.

Very easy to assemble by myself. Every part was labeled. Every piece needed was supplied and fit. It's been two weeks assembled and it's working well. It fits in my location perfectly. My tools all fit inside. I like the height, storage capacity and that it's all season wear.

I love my Shed - or should I say my Instant Landry Room!!! I live in a tiny house with no room to put a washer/dryer, but with the Suncast Shed I am all set and no longer have to make trips to the laundromat. YEAH!!! We have had three major rain storms since I installed the shed and I am happy to report there have been NO LEAKS. It was easy to build and very sturdy.

We all ready had two. We bought a third one as we love how large they are. They are not hard to assemble, just time consuming. We love them. They withstood a tornado well.

Glad we went with the bigger stow away!! Fits everything we needed and has extra space if we need it. A bonus, this stow away is made in the USA!

The size was perfect, it fits five garbage cans easily. Assembly is another story. It isn't difficult, but I was given two bags of nuts, and was not given another bag of hardware needed to finish the assembly. I was able to order the correct hardware from the manufacturer, and in about a week I received it. BUT- The very worst part of this unit are the top's hinges. They squeeze and deform the thin plastic this thing is made from as you lift the lid. I can see already that they do not sit properly, and I'm sure the back panel they're attached to will soon fail completely. The entire unit is made from very thin plastic. Every single screw used to assemble it simply goes into pathetic, thin plastic with no way to tighten the screws, they just sit and spin... I suppose as screws fall out or tear the plastic, they will need to be replaced by long bolts that will go entirely through the unit's walls, and washers and nuts to keep everything secure. It should have been done that way by design. Had they molded the plastic pieces with heavy, dense material in the areas where the screws attach, it may have worked better. So I can't recommend this to everyone, unless you keep in mind what I've said, and can handle future failure by effecting repairs. If you assemble this on a warm day in the sunlight, you will see how everything is flimsy and the screws don't fasten it together...

We purchased this Suncast storage shed to house and protect our robot pool cleaner and other equipment from the AZ sun. Unless you are purchasing this storage shed to put inside or can place it in a location protected from wind, don’t bother purchasing. The unit was blown apart during our first relatively minor windstorm since it was assembled, on Tues 5/26. On Sat 5/30, we had a windstorm that produced local gusts Up to 50mph, near the base of the Superstition Mountains and discovered the condition of the shed. We are not amateurs to assembly and placed the unit on a new concrete pad because we wanted to ensure the integrity of the structure. This is a huge disappointment and I will look into returning this model.
