When creating a new outdoor space on our side patio, I really wanted to include a wood-burning outdoor fireplace—not a fire pit or a chiminea, but also not something that I had to build from scratch. This Sunjoy fireplace fit all my needs. I also like that the super-sturdy construction includes hinged, latching doors. The size was even perfect for our space. It was simple and quick to put together (very heavy, but that's a good thing), so we had a fire going in no time. I do wish there was an option to purchase a chimney cap.

This item is sturdy and very easy to assemble. I have received lots of compliments on the fire place. It will keep the area warm.

Love our outdoor fireplace. Rust easily and highly recommend a BBQ cover for it to keep it looking new and fresh. Minus that highly recommend.

This fireplace is made well and puts out good heat. We love it.

All the metal areas rust. We tried sanding it & painting it with rustoleum high heat paint in order to preserve it, nothing worked. Tried reaching out to sunjoy with them advising us to buy a new metal base. Home Depot said go to the manufacturer.

This is a magnificent piece! Everyone compliments it. It’s very heavy so you need 2-3 people to move it. I use far less wood than a traditional fire pit and the wood burns much longer. I put it on tile on my wooden deck with no issue so I can have a fire while having an evening drink or hot tub.

Have had for many years. Great addition to our backyard Oasis. Buy a BBQ cover to keep it out of the rain and snow and it will last for many years

This is exactly what we wanted for our patio. Really enjoy using it. It could be improved with a slightly taller chimney, but we are really happy. It looks like we had it built. And good thing is that you can move it if you want to. Found a grill cover to fit over it so rain etc doesn't get inside.

We've had ours for over a year. Purchased and inexpensive grill cover for it.. fit perfectly. Looks just the same as the day we purchased. Even here on the gulf coast. Wish it has casters would be the only thing that would add to the value for me.

This fireplace is about three years old and it is literally falling apart. The metal started rusting the same season we bought it, the paint wore off the “stone” within the first year and just looked black, and now the faux stone is falling off all around. Perhaps if you bought a cover for it these problems wouldn’t be as bad, however if it needs a cover to survive the elements it should be included. I regret buying this thing. It’s garbage.

First the product was delivered ahead of date which was awesome. The delivery company was in contact with me the entire journey. The guys who delivered were great they came in and placed where we asked. How ever I will suggest that there are a group of people able to lift and move it once you unpack it. It’s heavy and not a one person job unless you lift major weights. It looks great and has created a great focal point and topic of conversation. Greatful for the heat.

We just added a large patio and this fireplace fits and looks great! It did take 2 men to place and assemble but it was not difficult. Love this. Arrived perfect! Easy to put together, no tools required. Heavy, took 3 of us to lift onto base. Outside walls do not get hot. Top is metal, flat base of it warm, top of it gets hot. Very pleased.

I am absolutely blown away with my new stone fireplace! Once it arrived it surpassed my expectations! The quality Amazing and the beauty!? We are thrilled to make memories around the fire!

We had bought this a couple years ago now and it is extremely rusted, almost rusted thru in spots. It looks really bad. and despite contacting Sunjoy and Home Depot.com there was no one that was able to help me extremely disappointed with this. So a rusted,expensive fire place I have:/

It is really well made, it looks beautiful, it is easy to put together, it is easy to maintain and when lit it has ambience, there absolutely nothing that I find to complain about.

We’ve had this a few weeks now and we’re very happy with it. I love the style and it looks really nice (quality, realistic). Highly recommended!

Full transparency, we loved it when we first bought it!! However for the amount of money spent it does not hold up!! After the second season the back wall started to disintegrate, and rust out!! YES IT WAS COVERED with a heavy duty all season cover.. Definitely not worth the investment..

A lot of the stone was covered with morter. Not vert attractive. It looks like they just filled in holes with morter not stones.
