Very good quality as well as a great price.Built some beautiful cabinet doors with this furniture grade wood.

Not close to 8’ on most of the boards had to readjust some were already cupped I ended up using them because I didn’t want to wait for different ones. Not what I expected

This was packaged very well; probably better than it needed to be and was better quality than what’s sold in-store. It is also cheaper per foot as compared to in store.

The 1"x12"s were fine. For the dimensions of the boards, I was impressed with the quality.

Very pleased with this wood. We made an awesome mantel out of it and it looks beautiful. Good quality.

Absolutely GORGEOUS Red Oak boards.... bookcase material.

very nice pieces. no knots, very nice rough finish with no saw marks or other imperfections. pretty much ready to stain and final finish right out of the box.

Wood product was great. Price was outrageous but was necessary to finish job.

There was roughness on the edge due to blade chattering and a sizeable knot caused significant cupping on one the boards. Fortunately I only needed 4 feet of each 6 foot board. Still, that equates to 4 feet of waste that I paid dearly for. The price one pays for not being able to personally choose a piece of wood during a pandemic.

It is not really project ready S4S. Warped, cracked(lost 12 inches), planer marks requiring much sanding, and, if that wasn’t enough, lost almost 8 inches due of planer snipe on the ends. Needed to buy a planer to use it for my project. Could have bought cheaper wood.

Decent planks some open knots on a couple. Pretty flat.

very good quality easy to work with meet my expectations

I joined 4 of them to make my table top and they were flawless, the only concern was the wood color that was not matched at all. That’s why I ordered double so I can match the color. Interesting that in every package of two boards one was red the other kinda brown.

I ordered 64 linear feet of the 11 3/4 x 3/4 red oak, shipped to home. The material all arrived safely and undamaged and I found the quality of the wood itself to be ok. My dismay is that Swaner slaps two UPC/product_ID stickers on each board, right in the middle, about 20 inches from either end. I find these to be the stickers from Hades and nothing I did to remove them was either easy or left a totally satisfactory result. The stickers are completely superfluous when the product is shipped directly to the consumer. Breaks one's heart to see a fine piece of hardwood, done S4S very well, purposely sullied with adhesive in two places.

Very pleased with wood.

I ordered two (2) of this product and the first two boards were good but the third board was so bad it will end up in my scrap ben. This board had so many defects I do not understand how it got through your quality control ( if you have a quality control group). The planning of the board was so bad I could slide a 1/8" shim under a straight edge in many places along the surface.

The wood worked out great!, made my project look great as well, making a cedar chest for my grand daughter.
