Worked very well for my DIY farmhouse table. A few knots I had to avoid by flipping over and using the other side but overall happy with the quality and relatively straightness of each board.

My carpenter used these on my ceiling and let’s just say I was impressed. Classic look and great fast shipping.

The wood was well protected and arrived without any damage. It was flat and straight and looks great after it was stained. Whenever I want reliably nice quarter sawn oak Swaner is my go to. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was it was a week later than originally promised.

Absolutely beautiful quarter sawn white oak. Finished with antique walnut stain polyurethane. Wish I could include a picture. I will definitely buy more.

Good grain and smooth finish. Not cracked or twisted, only the usual slight warping expected in dimension lumber of this size.

Very beautiful and s4s smoother on 4 sizeds white oak. The price was pretty good for the nomial length you get and kiln dried, only thing is if you have a planer id suggest running it though maybe 1 time i had a slight warp at the end of the boards but dont affect the straightness too much

This is high-quality white oak lumber. If you're building a piece of furniture you want your grandchildren to will to their grandchildren, get this. We have several pieces of English oak furniture, and want a bookshelf that looks like its British-made "cousins." American white oak is fairly similar to English oak, but it's a bit hard to find where I live. Having a few boards sent via UPS made sense. This lumber costs enough to get you free shipping from Home Depot with the purchase...bonus!

Warped, split and knots. Unusable

This is very expensive for wood that is not top quality. The grain and color were very uneven. When I tried to rip a few 1.5 inch strips the wood twisted.

The boards had lots of nods and dents and were not straight. Order them twice and both times same thing happened . Had to return .

You get 4.12 BF in a pack of 2. That works out to $27.00 a BF. Quarter Sawn White Oak cost around $9.70 per BF at the mills. I'll plane my own thank you.

First of all, the packaging was excellent. Very well protected and the item was heavy and came from far. I ordered 4 boards (1x6x8) and everything was straight with a beautiful quarter sawn grain pattern. Thank you.

Beautiful quality white oak boards. nice grain and will be perfect for our project. Perhaps late I will be able to post a picture of finished table.

One board came in fine. The other one had a crack all the way through and I wasn’t able to use for the finishing job. I emailed and texted with pictures but no reply. So I spent 152$ with shipping for one board.

Well for the price of this lumber it should have been perfect ! Well it wasn't, one of the two pieces had largr knots on the side of the board with pieces missing . I had to cut this 5 1/2 " board down to 4 1/2" to get around the large knot. The other board hardley had any figure to it at all, I wouldn't call it quarter sawn if you ask me. I won't buy it again. No I don't recomend that you do either.

This product was used for a staircase. One of the pieces was slightly warped, but a carpenter was able to make it work. It does look nice.

2 - Boards were not planed correctly 6" side , had to work around the sections ( had a tight time line ) ! Sent a email to HD complaint site , NO RESPONSE !!

Beautiful boards, with great figure. They were nice and straight with no warping. Would buy again.

Some boards were not properly quarter sawn for which I paid extra. Knots present in one board.

Beautiful wood. Not 6" wide though, 5.5". Not a deal breaker. Still will work with my project. The ray flecking in the wood is gorgeous!

Dimensions of the lumber should be emphasized. Nice grain
