Like someone else, I made these work but there should be more attention to getting saw marks out of the sides and the straightness of these items. Since I was cutting mine down into four 36 inch legs I was able to deal with the amount of bowing. More work that should be expected had to go into the project becuase of the issue. THe pieces were free of knots or sapwood that is also sometimes a problem with walnut. The packaging is quite good but more attention should go into the processing. See picture of the vanity I built below.

Packaging was great but dimensions were off. I expected 6 inches wide board but got 5.75 instead.

Under the specifications it shows the actual size as 1.5 in. x 5.5 in. x 8 ft. I was disappointed one of the boards was seriously bowed...

I was disappointed one of the boards was seriously bowed unusable for the project I purchased it for, one other had a bow in it but I was able to work with it. I paid a lot for this item to receive such poor quality was extremely diapointing.

The material arrived well packaged to protect it. There was only one small pin knot that I was able to hide in the work. I would definitely use this again.

Was a little nervous ordering expensive hardwood online without having seen it, but was pleasantly surprised. Both boards were almost completely clear of knots, but for two tiny ones that were easily filled, and a section of sapwood roughly 1x8 inches. They were expensive, but walnut generally is. I would definitely feel confident ordering hardwoods from them again in the future.

Did not meet expectations for price. Ordered three pieces of 2 X 6 X 6' and all three boards were significantly warped. Would give one star but boards were knot free and nicely surfaced. Due to the amount of material lost to get them straight they did not work for the project they were purchased for.

all in all good quality and straight with the exception of a deep knot with missing wood around which, I hope, I can fill with wood filler made from the shavings collected from the same board.
