Nice steeple climber, well made and thought out. The rope is thick nylon, seems more than strong enough for multiple kids. The wood steps are thick and smooth, no worries about breaking or splinters. The hardware is good. The helical anchors into the ground are solid. Even in my sandy soil they sunk deep and held true. The top hardware is ok, I sort of wish they had included multiple links at the top, as it seems like an unnecessary single point of failure, but I've been using the same links on swings with no issues, so I guess it's ok.

This Steeple Tri-Climber is excellent for children up to 10 years of age and up to 150 pounds. It is 23 inches on each side, and approximately 48 inches high. It comes complete with 3 stakes to anchor the bottom, making climbing easier. Top will be about six foot off the ground. It can be attached to backyard wood play sets, or to a larger tree limb. You have to supply the mounting bolt and secure with the C-Ring supplied, and attached to the three ropes. Helps to build young children's strength and climbing abilities.

Steeple Climber Fun Addition to any playground set This steeple climber is constructed heavy rope and think wood for hours of fun climbing on. It comes with anchor stakes so the base can be anchored to the ground. The one thing I wish is that it was longer. I have a very tall swing set. I had to add a chain to extend down so would be able to stake the steeple climber down. My children and all the neighbor kids have had many hours of enjoyment climbing on this steeple climber.

Bought for a 3 yr old. He’s managed it well. The older he gets the more experimental he’ll get. It’s great for balance, muscle building, planning next move etc.

It's only good for small kids.The stakes are needed to insert in the ground to stabilize it. My kids did not find it much fun and I returned it the day I set it up.

It must have been fairly easy to install. We have not yet see our grandson use it. But he seems happy

This climbing ladder is great for my 6 and 8 year old kids. The neighbors love to come over and use it also.

Kind of pricey for the quality. It really is over priced. Had I seen it in the store, I would not have bought it unless it was on sale.

Overall it's good and my kids love it. I wish it had a better way to tie the ropes to the ground stakes, but it's still a good add on to the playset.

The Swing-N-Slide Playsets Steeple Climber is an excellent addition to our existing playset. The kids love to climb, and this item is perfect. They can climb on the inside or on the outside of the Steeple Climber. The Climber is well made and it comes with ground stakes to help stabilize it.

The Steeple Climber is an excellent addition to my grandkids tree house. It's strong enough for even the bigger kids. The anchors have to be placed in pretty solid ground to stay in place but once done the Climber is stabilized. It provides a great means of exercise and my young ones love using it rather than the ladder as a method to reach the tree house. It`s made from quality materials so hopefully it`ll provide plenty of use for the kids.

I have a custom built two story playset in my back yard. When I made it I put in a trap door that I intended to put a pole in to slide down but never did. So I was hoping this would take the place of the missing pole and for the most part it does. But there are some drawbacks. First, it's not quite as tall as I'd hoped. Approximately 6 feet from top to bottom, but the usable area is less. It works because my boys are bigger. But if I had put this when my kids were smaller, it wouldn't have been tall enough, Maybe that's my fault for making such a big playset. But this says in the description 90 inches so I was expecting that I could make it fit 7 or more feet. The ropes go that far, but not the pegs. Second, the pegs seem to be untreated. Some reviewers pointed out that they will mold. I decided to paint mine right away to avoid that. I recommend you do that as well if you're putting this outside. Third, it was fun for a minute but my boys - and I know this is subjective - didn't like it as much as I thought they would. They went back to the slide and rockwall (with rope). Overall, it's a neat addition to the playset, but not great. If you stain it and expect it to be closer to 6 feet of use than 7.5 then you will likely be good.

This is great for kids ages 3 to 7, after that, they would outgrow it. It's not very tall either, much smaller than it looks on pictures. To add an extra couple feet, I added my own bottom step (cut three pieces of wood and drilled holes and attached just like the ones included. This retrofit made it a little better, so that it is closer to 8' of climbing. Ideally, you will follow directions and attach the bottom ropes to the ground, but in doing so, this really shortens the ladder to barely 6' tall. However, you still should attach to the ground somehow because it swings wildly if not attached. Again, 3 to 7 years old is ideal.

The grandkids love it! Ages 6 & 7! I hung it from a tree branch. Appears to be well made. Simple design, just what I was looking for and found it cheaper at Home Depot. Happy purchase!

This was super easy to attach to our tree house. Great change to the regular rope ladder and allows for the kids to climb inside or outside.

Got it while HD had their play item sales. Install was pretty easy. You need to buy the hardware to attach to your set. I used a long eye bolt and about 2 ft of chain, then attached the D-rings it came with. If you look close, you can see in the picture. It also comes with some anchors to attach the rope at 3 points to the ground. Unfortunately, our yard is rocky, so instead of 3 points, I have ours anchored once in the center of the triangle... which makes it a bit more challenging. My daughter is nearing 3 and although was hesitant at first, is becoming more comfortable with it. She is mastering the cargo / pirates ladder first. The only reason I won't do 5 stars is I have only had it for a short time, but it seems like it should last.
