I needed to replace my old T-fal iron which lasted a good, long time so I looked for another one and I am not disappointed. The new model has a more dramatic design and updated features but still performs to my needs. I am a quilter, and one of my most important tools is an iron! Thanks T-fal!

I’ve had this model FV2640 for about 6 years and the only issues I’ve has is with the water fill lid. The water fill lid doesn’t stay closed- probably from repeated use 5 days a week. The steam settings are awesome. My shirts always look as if they just came from the cleaners. I came to the website to see about buying a new filler lid and was shocked at the number of low overall reviews. I was in the Navy for 20 years and wish I had this iron back then. I know the quality of a good steam iron. I love the anti calc feature. I’ve cleaned it out twice ( easy to do). I’m happy to see that the calc filter is an available accessory.

I absolutely LOVE this iron. The weight is perfect and it gets extremely hot producing a great way to flatten any quilting seams. I'm a long arm quilter and this is my favorite iron yet! I use it just about everyday, all day and will recommend it to any of my customers.
