Great set!
This set comes with all you need to install an outlet outside. I wanted to put a new outlet on the balcony of my master bedroom and installed one right behind an outlet I have inside my room. The weatherproof cover protects the GFCI outlet and also gives plenty of room for a heavy duty extension cord to be plugged in. Very easy to install!!

Quick and easy install. Port protectors are firmly in place and don't fall out. I also like that I can lock the lid down and still have something plugged in. Will be getting more of these for my outdoor outlets.

This 1-Gang Horizontal or Vertical Mount Weatherproof Extra Duty In-Use Cover/GFCI Combo by Taymac is a great outdoor electrical box. I used this to replace a old outdoor box that broke. It was very simple and easy to mount and wire. The screws on the sides of the receptacle make for a no hassle wiring job. Just strip the white and black wires and slip them in the holes and tighten the screws and install the ground wire under it's screw and your done. Being a GFCI receptacle it has the test and reset buttons. The box has a gasket on the back to make a waterproof seal around it. The cover is big enough to be able to close it with a extension or tool in it.

Excellent for intended outdoor use - I have this installed where the water sprinkler can spray water onto it. The cover protects the receptacle, just right. Installation has very simplified instructions, not too fancy, but I did have to struggle with all the screws on this. So, wear gloves in case the screwdriver slips. A great feature is the "bubble" cover - because I have a mini-transformer plugged in. The cover is big enough to cover it and be closed. Also, there is a removable piece on the bottom to drop your cord. The reset and test buttons are just right, even with the mini-transformer over them - I don't push the mini transformer/plug on too hard and it is good enough.

I am embarrassed to have installed this. I just needed an outdoor weatherproof cover. This also comes with GFCI receptacle which I did not need. I bought it anyway for the cover. My main issue with the cover is that it is not sturdy. The whole front cover shakes. Feels like a toy. I highly recommend this alternative product from Leviton (https://www.homedepot.com/p/Leviton-Decora-GFCI-1-Gang-Extra-Heavy-Duty-Raintight-While-In-Use-Device-Mount-Horizontal-Cover-with-Lid-Gray-5981-UGY/301940682) which I have installed and is much sturdier. Probably why the review are much better on the Leviton product.
