When you sit on the toilet and lean back on the lid, it pushes the top off the Tank each time. My old toilet was the same config but I never had that problem before.
I think the lid needs a much better lip where it sits on the tank to prevent this. For an expensive toilet like this, I would expect much better quality.

Hello Jwyo, I am sorry to hear that you are not completely satisfied with Drake II toilet. The tank lid is designed to allow the user to move it around on top of the tank in order to find the best alignment that is flush with the tank. For this reason, the bumpers are small to prevent the lid from sliding off, but they do not keep the lid in one place. Many people will choose to use Velcro stickers to secure the lid in their preferred location. We will be happy to send you a set if needed. Great product. Make sure you pick up from store rather than dropped at home. Had to order replacements twice due to carrier issues.

Purchased this tank to go on Toto base. I have three of these toilet now and they are definitely worth the extra money. The toilets have a circular flush pattern that keeps the bowl amazingly clean.

You guys don't understand, the tank broke, fortunately it didn't...
You guys don't understand, the tank broke, fortunately it didn't have a full tank, the tank has a unique flushing system that doesn't require the whole tank to drop its contents then reload, using a lot of water. I would recommend a Toto to anyone, they are more expensive but they are superior in every way. We have listened to all the national brands ads, fallen for them, then been disappointed just to get a toto in the end. Save some time and expense.

Really not sure how well it works being that it has not been installed by the contractor. However, it was shipped missing the small plates that cover the bolts. In addition, it was shipped without instructions.
I will need to call customer service again being that the contractor stated he needs the instructions for sure. Please note, If the toliet operates as good as it looks I will be a very happy customer.
