I own several different brands of thermal tumblers, some much more expensive than this one, and this keeps ice as good or better than the more expensive ones! The lids snaps on securely, and a plus is the seal for the opening in the cap which snaps shut securely and is totally leak proof. The soft sides make it easy to grip, and it fits in every cup holder in every vehicle I own!

Best. Insulated. Tumbler. Ever! I know that is a boastful claim, however, I have my reasons! First, this is a rugged, well made Tumbler. Made of quality parts, quality that you can see and feel when holding it. There are a lot of similar types we have all owned, for me, this one is better than all the other ones. Made of Stainless Steel with an inner Copper Liner, this Tumbler also has an Air Gap to keep the cold/hot in! Out of the box, I placed these two Tumblers into the top rack of my Dishwasher and sanitized them. There wasn't ANY warpage after the cycle. Also, this Tumbler is made of BPA free materials, so you won't be scared to think your hot beverages will leech chemicals into your system. Product says hot drinks for 6 hours, cold for 24 and iced for 48 hours! That's true for the hot and cold. I have not yet tested the 2 day iced claim, though i'm sure it's true. The lid makes a perfectly tight seal. No leaks! None! I like the solid, tight snap of the lid over the mouthpiece. It feels comfortable in your hand and did fit into the cup holder in my car. I'm definitely sold on these Tumblers. Check out my pictures below.

Toughest travel cup ever! This 20-ounce tumbler from Tahoe Trails is fantastic. With an inner liner and outer shell of stainless steel, I think you might have to run this thing over with your car to get any dents. The lid, even though it's plastic, is almost as rugged. The thickness of the lid makes it seem like it's going to be very durable. And the flip-top spout plug is ergonomic and much less messy than the sliding type lids of other travel mugs. The outer shell on the one I got is a grippy kind of silicon or durable rubber material. It's really soft to the touch but has a little nubbiness that means you won't drop the cup. The narrow end allows this to hold a lot of liquid and still fit into a standard cup holder. The profile is low enough that you won't bump it with your elbows. The one drawback is that it's so large that I don't have a totally good grip on the cup unless I hold it from the bottom. I think men will have no trouble at all, but women might have to lift it a bit more carefully or use two hands when it's full. The grippy silicon cover helps with that, though. FYI, I ran it through the dishwasher and the rubber and the lid are as nice as when it came out of the box. Bonus!

My wife was given a Yeti 30oz. tumbler as a gift. She asked me to get another to have a matching pair. I searched Home Depot and found this item in the same color and size at less than half the cost of a Yeti. The Tahoe trail felt lighter. I now assumed that the Yeti would hold ice longer so I tried a little experiment. I filled both tumblers with ice and left them on the kitchen counter. I wanted to see how long the ice would last. The two tumblers sat on the counter over night. A total of 12 hours. In the morning the ice ball left in the Tahoe trail was twice the size of the over priced Yeti. I have always been taken back at how much Yeti demanded for their products and often wondered if they were worth it. I am convinced that the Yeti 30oz. tumbler is not as good as the Tahoe Trail. Yeti tumblers are made in China. I assume the Tahoe trail are as well but could not verify

Great tumbler for keeping your beverages hot or cold especially when you're on the go! This product is a great value when compared to the Yeti brand. I left both sit for 24 hours with the same amount of ice and the melted ice/wataer level was the same in both cups. This 20 oz size is not too bulky or heavy to use on the go. It's also great when sitting around the house and you want to keep your beverage at the right temperature.

This tumbler is a great value! It looks great and has a nice slip free outside coating to keep a good grip on it. It's not too heavy but nice size for road trips and taking to work. I use it everyday filled with some ice and water and the ice lasts all day even with filling my cup up with more cold water. it says it's 30 oz but if you plan to use the lid, it's more like 28 oz but still a great deal. I compared it to my 30 oz Yeti with the same amount of ice in each for 24 hours and the ice had melted exactly the same.

I just got my self two of these Insulated Stainless steel tumblers. And they work great.And a very good thing i can say is that , They don't sweet if you happen to leave them on your wife make up table .. " Don't Tell the wife " i use my Tumbler in the morning to take my coffee to work.It will stay hot till about 11.00 , all gone with the coffee . Then a quick cleaning.Stainless steel cleans up very easy with out the coffee taste, And now i can fill my cup up with cold water. I work around power equipment and the lid keep trash out of my water.

Awesome mugs, these literally keep your drink warm for HOURS. Just a heads up that 30oz is BIG. These things are way too big for my little hands, but my 6'4" and stout husband is in love with them. He drinks a lot of coffee each day, and these keep his coffee warm until after lunch, and fit a ton of coffee in them. The camo looks great, these would make a fantastic stocking stuffer or gift item. They do come in a smaller size, so unless you are a big person, you should probably go with the 20oz size ones. Personally I would pay this price for one good mug, but you get 2! The only down-side to these is they have the cheap plastic piece for the top, that eventually over time start to fall down while your drinking. Just a minor annoyance though. Please make these in pink camo!

There are a lot of things I like about these tumblers, but they have one design flaw that prevents me from recommending them. The lid does not have a cut away on the opposite side of the access port. That means when opened up to take a drink, the access port hits you in the nose and gets whatever was in your tumbler all over it. It also disengages if you try to push it back too far, and sometimes when you close it. Otherwise these tumblers are awesome. They look great, have a nice textured grip, keep my coffee hot for hours, and can be put in the dishwasher

This is a nice thermal insulated tumbler at a very reasonable price. This tumbler looks great and feels comfortable in my hand. It is a 20oz size which , I think, is a great size for coffee & hot beverages, especially when bringing into the car. It easily fits into the cup holder. The lid seals tight and has a nice large gasket. No leaking noted. It kept my coffee hot in care for over 3 hours and even kept ice cubes intact through the night. I only wish the lid cap was a little more substantial, not sure how that will hold up to repeated dishwasher uses. Overall very nice item

This stainless steel vacumm tumbler comes in a tomato red color, keeps liquids cold, hot and icy. I really like the clear see through lid and knowing the lid prevents spills. This Tahoe Trails tumbler is my upmost first choice in a traveling mug and every day drinking. Fits perfectly in my SUV cup holder and holds 30 oz. of fluid. I love the lower part of the tumbler is narrow enough to fit most cup holders. It's sweat proof, BPA free and be careful when hot fluids are being consume. It stays extremely HOT.

This review is for the 20 oz. Charcoal Gray Vacuum Insulated Stainless Steel Tumbler (2-Pack) made by Tahoe Trails. Very middle of the road, average product in my opinion. The product description says "Great for both hot and cold beverages keep ice cold up to 24 hours, hot for 6 hours". I haven't tried the cold beverages in it yet, but I put my morning coffee in it, took it to work, and within 3 hours it was lukewarm at best; definitely not hot. It was 78 degrees out today, so it's not as though the ambient temperature was so cold that it caused it not to keep the coffee hot. Very underwhelmed with this product.

When used with hot water the sealed tumbler leaks and the cover comes off when set on it’s side or turned upside down. We did quite a bit of testing after we first discovered this issue by accident when a tumbler fell over with hot coffee in it. We cannot recommend this product. It is supposed to work with hot water and it does not. The cover always leaks and/or comes off when filled with hot water or coffee. The tumbler works as advertised when used with warm or cold water. Nice appearance. The painted surface is slippery. The Size is too large at the top to grab if you have small hands. Competing products have rubberized or friction surfaces that are much easier to grab. The sealing mechanism has TWO clicks. This is confusing since most others have one click. The first click only seals the container partially, the second click seals it fully.

Coffee!!!!! These insulated tumblers are the perfect go to for my morning commute. The 20 oz. stainless steel tumblers kept my coffee warm all morning and even as I bring the mug into my office. A nice tight-fitting silicone ring seals the lid while the clear plastic allows you to see how much coffee you have left! The flip-up sipping mechanism opens to a pretty large opening for drinking. Even still, the flip-up tab is well sealed with another silicone lid for a no-leak tight fit. Overall, a cleanly designed tumbler that will be easy to clean as well! Highly recommended.

Great tumblers with excellent insulating properties, and they look good. These tumblers are lightweight and both look and feel great. The finish has a slight pebbling to it so it feels nice in the hand, and they do not get hot when filled with hot coffee. Most importantly both the lid and the tumbler are dishwasher safe. The lid uses a silicone seal to make an airtight seal, so good that if you put it on right after pouring hot coffee in the mug the lid will pop off from the heat rising from the coffee. You have to open the spout for a few seconds until the air adjusts itself well enough to seal. After this, the spout stopper doesn't seal completely and if you try to shake the tumbler to mix your beverage you're going to get leaks. I've used this on 40 degree days and it's kept a cup of coffee drinkably hot for two hours. It likely could keep it longer, but I wanted to drink the coffee, so the experiment didn't go the full length (sorry). .The tumblers are tapered so they will fit in the cup holders of any vehicle, yet they don't get top heavy. The only flaw I've found (other than the lid popping off mentioned earlier) is that the spout (for lack of a better term) doesn't fold back far enough. Even when it's folded back all the way, if you're have to tip the tumbler back to get to the bottom it will touch your nose (or at least my medium to giant nose). This will result in a wet nose if there's any liquid on the stopper.

This insulated tumbler has excellent design and quality. It’s great for keeping me hydrated throughout the day since drinks stay cold for hours and its large capacity requires fewer refills. In the morning, I often find ice still in it left from the day before. Since the rim is somewhat thick for my mouth, I’ve found it easier to drink by using a large silicone straw which fits perfectly through the lid opening. The seal cap folds fully backwards completely out of the way while drinking from the lid. My other favorite features: It doesn’t sweat since the exterior stays at room temperature - so no need for a coaster. The stylish Cranberry red, brushed texture is not only unbreakable but fits securely in your hand. The Clear plastic lid allows you to see what’s inside. It fits tightly and won’t leak thanks to its ribbed silicone seal. The Tapered base fits cup holders and is easy to hold. Its Stainless steel liner doesn’t affect the taste of the beverage. I’m glad this comes in a two pack since I probably wouldn’t have been able to get mine back from my wife. She loves hers and keeps it near her throughout the day.

I like these tumblers with a design coating on them because it can show off your personality depending on what coating you choose. The stainless steel is 18/8 and the plastic cover is dishwasher safe and is BPA toxin free. The tumbler will keep cold for 24 hours and hot for six hours. I us the tumblers to keep water cold by my bed at night because I have dry mouth. The plastic cover is double sealed and the tumbler is doubled walled.

I have been using these mugs for years but they didn't have a coating on the outside and it does make a big difference because it now has a grip to it plus the tomato red color is sharp looking. The plastic lids have a different design, which is a snap lock and a rubber stopper which should never spill if the tumbler is dropped. The stainless steel is 18/8 grade and the plastic top is BPA free of toxins.The tumbler will keep ice cold up to 24 hour and hot for 6 hours.

The Good and Bad about the Tahoe Trails 30 oz. Tumbler. First the Good. I like the vacuum gap between the outside and inside wall of the tumbler. With no air between the inner and outer walls the thermal heat transfer, either hot or cold will be minimal, great design. The sweat-free design will keep table tops or car cup holders dry and condensate free. The stainless steel inner and outer wall of the tumbler will be robust and should minimize damage if dropped. The 100% spill proof and leak proof cap on the lid is a great idea to keep the contents inside when walking, riding an ATV or 4-wheel drive on rough roads. Just make sure you hear the cap plugs snap shut before you assume the container is sealed shut. Now the bad. Unfortunately, you can’t drink out of the container without the seal cap pushing up against your nose (see the picture). The design should be revised to allow this cap to fold completely out of the way when drinking from the tumbler. So, I would give the tumbler an overall B+ for a grade. I like it and it will get a lot of use but future designs should address this minor issue.

Wow these things are great. They are bigger than they look in pictures. They fit in cup holders easily thanks to their appropriately sized base. The hey a super wide mouth to fit ice easily for cold liquids and for your hands for cleaning. The top fits snug to prevent leaks and the juice opening is wide enough to drink without having to sip. The tomato red color is a little more brick red than tomato red. The exterior of the cup stays room temperature without transmitting heat/cold from the beverage to the outer liner. The outer liner does not sweat either making it desk safe.

This is a BIG tumbler! This tumbler has some high quality features and one fatal flaw. The good stuff first, i keeps your drink cold. Its double wall vacuum construction works well. The lid is easy to put on and take off, and it's clear and snaps tight and stays put when it's knocked over. The interior is seamless stainless steel so it's easy to clean. Oh, it's also dishwasher safe. No for the fatal flaw, it's big, really big and kinda top heavy too, combine this with a super smooth paint finish means it's hard to keep a hold of, especially filled. I don't have small hands, I wear XL gloves and this thing is hard to wrap your hand around. I've also tipped it over more than once; thankfully the lid stays shut.

This two pack of camo tumblers is pretty awesome. First, it's 30 ounces, so it'll hold plenty of whatever you want to drink (hot or cold), and if you're drinking cold stuff, there is room for ice as well. It fits into car cup holders, so it's great for travel, especially with the spill proof lid. That fact that you get two of these tumblers for the price of one of the more popular name brand was a key selling point for me. It's made of double walled stainless steel, and the plastic lid is BPA free. It's nice not to have to worry about that. Since it's insulated, you don't have to worry about it being ice cold, or boiling hot (depending on the contents), and it doesn't sweat. For me the camo pattern was an additional bonus. I ordered these online, and they arrived on time. They were packaged well, and neither one was damaged in shipping.

These are real nice tumblers. High quality construction. BPA free. Claims to keep iced beverages cold for up to 48 hours, cold beverages cold for up to 24 hours and hot beverages hot for up to 6 hours. I only use it for coffee and it does keep it hot for the entire time I'm drinking it- so far the longest I've had a cup for is 3 hours. The cap seals very well. No leaks. The only thing I don't like is it's very wide so It's a little difficult to keep a strong grip on it. Otherwise, it's great.

Tahoe Trails 30 ounce travel mug review. I got a chance to check out the new Tahoe Trails tumbler (mine are gray, but they come in other colors). This model comes in a package of two mugs. They’re constructed of an outer shell of stainless, an inner shell of stainless, with a copper core as a liner. The lid is clear plastic (see photo) with a flip-up cover over the drinking orifice. The design narrows at the bottom end of the tumbler, so it fits into a variety of car cup holders. However, the tumblers are wider at the top (after all, they have space for 30 ounces) so sitting two side-by-side will depend on how close together the car’s cup holders are. They’re just over 4” wide at the top and are 8” high. The tumblers are dishwasher safe, which is always a plus in my book. The lid is shatterproof and there’s no glass anywhere in the construction, so I think these mugs will turn out to be tough enough to handle the day-to-day grind. Since there’s a vacuum between the inner/outer shells the mugs don’t ‘sweat’ and aren’t uncomfortable to hold. There’s a 1-year manufacturer’s warranty and the Home Depot 90-day return policy. It being near on winter here I can’t test the mugs sitting in the bleachers in the sun – but they keep tea hot enough to drink for 5 hours in an office environment. I think if I pre-heated the mugs with hot water before pouring in the tea I could get a bit more time. And, of course, “hot enough to drink” is subjective – what’s tepid for me may be fine for someone else. The bottom line – these things are well constructed, of solid materials, have 30 ounces capacity, are dishwasher safe and, most of all, my wife loves them. Got these 32oz insulated tumblers to fit into my car drink holder and it's a perfect fit. They feel very sturdy and when I put some cold drink in them, it kept it that same temperature for quite a while. I liked the Camo design as I thought it would look best in my car and it does. The lid has a slide which allow you to drink from this tumbler and/or use a straw. The lid seals very tightly, so it should prevent and spillage. The product looks extremely well made. The only drawbacks is that it's not "light" to carry around and if you have a small hand, you might have trouble using it or have to use two hands. If doesn't fit into my much older car as the drink holders back then were smaller. Diameter of the base is 2 7/8"

Quality tumbler cup. Solid well built with comfortable tapered shape. Looks great with its polished metal surface. The lid fits snugly and no drips or leaks noted. Unlike many cold cups this one is actually insulated and works great. I filled about 3/4 up with ice and left it sit at room temp for 24 hours and still had about 75% of the ice still remaining. It is large at 30oz which I love but it may be a little too big for people with smaller hands. I love it and how cold it keeps all of my drinks.

I went as far as to use my thermal camera to compare this tumbler to another popular brand of stainless tumblers. I loaded both up with ice and water and let sit for an hour on my counter. It turns out that both were within a single degree of each other, a statistical tie. 30 oz is simply to large for my wife to feel comfortable, but I love the size. It's less cumbersome than my 40 oz vacuum thermos and fits in cup holders. The lid feels like a quality item and I have seen no signs of wear after a dozen trips through the dishwasher.

Very nice tumblers. The product description is accurate. Very easy to clean the lids. Dishwasher safe. The lip isn't too thick so you won't dribble when drinking. A green alternative to using disposable hot or cold cups. They are quite large but still fit in standard cup holders due to the narrower bottom. Two will fit in the front seat cup holders of my ’03 Highlander but angle a bit. Newer cars with larger consoles should not have a problem holding two. If your rear car seats door cup holders flare out a bit they should fit fine. They hold heat and cold very well. In both my hot and cold test the outside of the tumbler did not feel hot or cold. The test was performed in a 68 degree room without direct sunlight. For the cold test I added one cup of ice and filled the tumbler with 55 degree water. After 7 hours the water was still 34 degrees! For the hot test I placed 30 ounces of 168 degree water in the cup with the lid closed. After 30 minutes temp was 161. After 1 hour 155. After 2 hours 148. After 5 hours 125. After 7 hours 115 degrees. It would cool faster if you were steadily drinking it but still good numbers for having a plastic lid. I really like the lids. They have the silicone gasket which fit well and don’t leak. They do leak out of the top if you shake them due to the tiny air hole on one side and the sliding cover on the other. The cover prevents leaking from typical driving or walking or jostling but if you shake or tip them they will leak quite readily. Not a big deal because these are tumblers and not a thermos. Overall really nice and very large tumblers. Quality stainless in a sleek design. The sliding cover on the lids pops off for easy cleaning.

This is a great set of four double walled 30 ounce tumblers that keep your hot beverage hot and your cold beverage cold. The sealed cover and the side to open the drink hole do a great job at keeping the liquid inside the tumbler. I took a picture of the tumbler in my truck and it fits but I'm not saying it will fit in every vehicle. The Logo on the side makes the tumbler look high end which it is. I have to have my coffee with me when I drive and this tumbler doesn't spill a drop unlike my old coffee mug.

Holds 30 ounces and keeps beverage cold/hot longer than an uninsulated tumbler.
