The Tapcon Concrete Anchors is a good choice for fastening to masonry. The fasteners come in a verity of sizes and hold fast in concrete and brick. You do have to use a masonry drill bit to make the hole for the Tapcon anchor screw. The screws can be removed easily, unlike masonry nails.

Product is definite high quality, I love the flat heads with the phillips/square because they grab better and date legs likely to strip. I cannot recall any of them stripping.

Worked as expected... drilled hole in brick to depth required and screwed them into holes to attach fireplace mantle.

The drill bit it says to use is too small screws wouldn’t screw into holes had a couple of them break off after I got them in about half way. Had to drill extra holes and now my wall looks like Swiss cheese. I will not buy this product again.
