Made a mess of it. Every screw twisted off before it got to depth. Used their bit. Blew out the hole. No impact driver. Garbage

Wish I'd read some of the reviews before purchasing, but you'd think that a fastener MEANT to be screwed into a hole in concrete would be up to the task. Drilled hole per instructions. Used an Allen wrench to screw the fastener into the hole. About 3/4 of the way in - SNAP. Not even using a power tool and... SNAP. Now I have 3/4 of the fastener stuck in the hole and cannot get it out so as to try another one of these junk fasteners or something else of higher quality. Profoundly disappointed.

I needed drill bits and screws to be secured to pavers drilling through a plastic air drain system for my artificial lawn turf project, SL Synthetic Lawn Turf. To note: I secured over 200 screws using no more than two bits from this product. It worked out very well. Buy this brand for your project. Job successful

Very strong screws. Used them to mount motion tv mount to wall. Very strong and could hold my weight.

was looking for an easier alternative from Concrete anchors (such as Red Head, etc). These screws work pretty well for the most part, as long as you can get at least 3/4" of the screw into the concrete (must use a carbide tip drill bit first via a hammer drill). Use the same hammer drill to attach the screw. Secured 2x4's and 1x4's to an old concrete stoop with a bit of effort. The hammer drill is a must.

I have used these over the years and the only failure I have ever had is with poor quality concrete blocks. Often, I have used an anchor cement such as liquid nails to fill the holes and ribs of the Tapcon anchors. It really gives it an extra layer of protection from pulling out.

I used these concrete screws in center blocks in crawlspace to attach mesh wire over brick vents. It included the drill bit I needed. Great product.

They are great and very strong

3 out of 8 screws were defective/ bent. Package was intact so it came from factory like that. Couldn't return them because I tried to install them and now look used. Check for straightness before use. It was frustrating experience.

Used this product in the past. Very good on concrete and mortar, cinder block Used this time on old fired clay brick. Not so good. te

Special star bit required

They worked with great. Just what I needed.

Tapcon 3/16 x 1 3/4 concrete screws work well. It is imperative to choose the proper head. Star heads aare great for drills - if you have the bit. Philips grips better than flat heads, but both may slip in a drill.
