Not sure which project I bought these for first but now they come up as often as my deck screws. self-tapping works great on about half the stuff but I generally still predrill a small guide hole as to stop the "wander". More expensive than i think they should be and yet...useful and handy enough to just put in my stock anyways.

Got these to hang HAT channel for exterior drywall worked fine no problems

I was very pleased with the screws. It’s nice that I bought more than enough so I don’t have to run back to the store stock up on them.

These work decent in metal studs, however, the Phillips tip does not fit perfectly in a number 2 as it should and therefore they wobble more than others when piercing the steel studs.

Just what we needed to finish our project.

Just screws worked fine for my application. Used with a cordless drill & #2 bit. The bit slipped a few times and the head didn’t strip, that was a plus.

The little drill is perfect for my needs!
