Bye Bye Bloodsuckers!
If you hunt where there are mosquitos you MUST have one of these!! They absolutely work as advertised creating an invisible barrier around you that keeps those blood thirsty bugs at bay!! We hunt the marshy areas on the shores of the Chesapeake Bay - at times I will set up two Thermacells in my stand as the insane numbers of the mosquitos there can "carry you away" LOL

Almost works too well!
We took this on a 4 day camping trip to the Boundary Waters of Northern Minnesota. It worked wonderfully! A quick note, shut it off and leave it outside of the tent. The fumes continue to linger for a while after it's turned off.

A great mosquito repeller.
I have hade mine for about a year now and my dad's has j have his for about 2.5 years. I take this every were outdoors. Wether that be hiking, fishing, or hunting, it dose it's job. It dose take a minute or so to clear out an area of mosquitoes, buti turn it off one they clear out and the "shield of protection"will stay around for 10min on a normal calm wind day. The only down side is that it is more expensive than regular mosquito spray and dosn't work instantly. But, it dose every bit as it is intended to. Also, the "refills" could be a little bit cheaper, but you can find them on sale at Walmart.

Perfect!
For yet another year, my Thermocell has kept me mosquito bite free. i’ve always wondered if deer are upset about the scent. This time I’ve got the earth scented pads. I had a coyote come up on me mid-day within 20 yards (downwind) as well as a fox in the early evening and a deer 10 yards away, all this past week while the Thermocell was active. And it certainly clears a ground blind out of mosquitoes

Didn’t work
So I bought this yesterday with the bag to carry that around i went kayaking and camping i got 6 huge bites on my arm and legs didn’t work

Before reaching out, could we ask you to try a few things?
• Please be sure to properly insert the fuel cartridge and replace it approximate every 12 hours. Also, you should replace the insect repellent mats approximately every 4 hours (it will turn white on the top side).
• To ensure the unit is working properly, please be sure that there is an orange light glowing in the view hole (… on the top of the repeller or on the brim of the lantern)
• This product is fueled by butane which means it starts very much like a gas grill does. Turn the valve on, wait 5 seconds, then click “start”. It might take a few times like it takes a few times to get a grill going!

It works!
As an avid bow hunter early fall can be torture when it comes to mosquitoes. Sceptical of the product however after first use it was amazing ! I went from bites all over any exposed part of my body down to 1 or 2 bites! This product is great! Easy to use , no noise and smell so far doesn’t seem to bother the deer.

It Works
Went on a motorcycle camping trip to Alaska, 9000 miles total. In prepping for the trip people kept asking if I was afraid of bears. My answer was that I was more afraid of the reported hoards of mosquitoes. I had bottles of concentrated DEET but an acquaintance suggested the Thermacell. I thought yea right. I had heard too many false stories and reports about anything other than DEET being effective. End result I bought one and didn't even try it before I left.
Setting up my tent I was being swarmed by mosquitoes even though I was bathed in DEET. I didn't get that many bites but just the annoying flock of mosquitoes was horrible. I fired up the Thermacell and placed it on the picnic table and to my amazement this thing actually worked. I could sit there in peace, eat my dinner, write in my journal, read my book, ..., all without those pesky mosquitoes buzzing around my face. It worked as they said and I had a clear area of several feet.
