Not a sure thing :(
I bought this HOPiNG to be able to sit on my patio without being “eaten alive” with mosquitoes! Only to have my wife declare you wasted money on this product and I have gotten bitten even worse than before!
This is not what I expected! I have used the first12-hours fuel cartridge with much or any success! I WILL try one more cartridge to see if this one was a fluke! If NOT this is False Advertising, my wife and are were stifling around the table on my back patio

Bye Bye Bloodsuckers!
If you hunt where there are mosquitos you MUST have one of these!! They absolutely work as advertised creating an invisible barrier around you that keeps those blood thirsty bugs at bay!! We hunt the marshy areas on the shores of the Chesapeake Bay - at times I will set up two Thermacells in my stand as the insane numbers of the mosquitos there can "carry you away" LOL

Almost works too well!
We took this on a 4 day camping trip to the Boundary Waters of Northern Minnesota. It worked wonderfully! A quick note, shut it off and leave it outside of the tent. The fumes continue to linger for a while after it's turned off.

A great mosquito repeller.
I have hade mine for about a year now and my dad's has j have his for about 2.5 years. I take this every were outdoors. Wether that be hiking, fishing, or hunting, it dose it's job. It dose take a minute or so to clear out an area of mosquitoes, buti turn it off one they clear out and the "shield of protection"will stay around for 10min on a normal calm wind day. The only down side is that it is more expensive than regular mosquito spray and dosn't work instantly. But, it dose every bit as it is intended to. Also, the "refills" could be a little bit cheaper, but you can find them on sale at Walmart.

Perfect!
For yet another year, my Thermocell has kept me mosquito bite free. i’ve always wondered if deer are upset about the scent. This time I’ve got the earth scented pads. I had a coyote come up on me mid-day within 20 yards (downwind) as well as a fox in the early evening and a deer 10 yards away, all this past week while the Thermocell was active. And it certainly clears a ground blind out of mosquitoes

Works great!!!!
We have a lantern & the Thermacell MR300. We use it anytime we are outdoors or on our patio. We love how they work. If it’s windy we move it around so we don’t get a bite & love it! Highly recommend Thermacell products!

Didn’t work
So I bought this yesterday with the bag to carry that around i went kayaking and camping i got 6 huge bites on my arm and legs didn’t work

• Please be sure to properly insert the fuel cartridge and replace it approximate every 12 hours. Also, you should replace the insect repellent mats approximately every 4 hours (it will turn white on the top side).
• To ensure the unit is working properly, please be sure that there is an orange light glowing in the view hole (… on the top of the repeller or on the brim of the lantern)
• This product is fueled by butane which means it starts very much like a gas grill does. Turn the valve on, wait 5 seconds, then click “start”. It might take a few times like it takes a few times to get a grill going!

It works!
As an avid bow hunter early fall can be torture when it comes to mosquitoes. Sceptical of the product however after first use it was amazing ! I went from bites all over any exposed part of my body down to 1 or 2 bites! This product is great! Easy to use , no noise and smell so far doesn’t seem to bother the deer.

It Works
Went on a motorcycle camping trip to Alaska, 9000 miles total. In prepping for the trip people kept asking if I was afraid of bears. My answer was that I was more afraid of the reported hoards of mosquitoes. I had bottles of concentrated DEET but an acquaintance suggested the Thermacell. I thought yea right. I had heard too many false stories and reports about anything other than DEET being effective. End result I bought one and didn't even try it before I left.
Setting up my tent I was being swarmed by mosquitoes even though I was bathed in DEET. I didn't get that many bites but just the annoying flock of mosquitoes was horrible. I fired up the Thermacell and placed it on the picnic table and to my amazement this thing actually worked. I could sit there in peace, eat my dinner, write in my journal, read my book, ..., all without those pesky mosquitoes buzzing around my face. It worked as they said and I had a clear area of several feet.

Works instantly
I've used this product for several years now and it works great. Our bow deer season opens the first week of September here in Kentucky with warm weather still in the forecast. On those very warm Mornings and evenings in the tree stand it dosn't take long for those buzzing things to find you. I throw the switch and hit the button and the problem is eliminated. Have given to my son and Granddaughter they are hunters and love them as well.

Easy to use, safe, and it absolutely works GREAT!!
Opening day of archery deer season in the Central Virginia (Richmond) area 10-6-2018. I hunted near the Chickahominy Swamp area in the morning, and the mosquitoes were atrocious! I came down with less blood in my veins, and mad as a hornets nest! I went straight to a Walmart at lunch and bought one of these gems (MR 300). In the evening I went back in the woods, and DEEP into the swamp! I took my climber up to twenty feet high. I lit this unit off, forty mosquitoes turned into ten, then a few, and then NONE! I hung this thing from my stand on the upwind side of me, and that’s all it took. I did see five deer downwind, and out of bow range that fed for twenty minutes without any concern over scent. Attached are two pictures of the standing water, and mosquito rich slop I was hunting by. IT WORKED GREAT, and is the best $19.97 I have spent in a long time!!!! Thank you Thermacell.

Great product
I bought this product for now hunting after sitting in stand getting ate up. Used product the very next morning and mosquitos were gone. Thanks for a great product that does what it says it will do. I'm from Louisiana highly recommend if you hunt in the south and don't have this product with you you need to get one.

SIMPLE, EFFECTIVE & AFFORDABLE
I lost a shot on a deer due to flying lil vampires biting me while in tree stand. I researched what I could use and I found thermacell. Went that day and purchased one... followed simple instructions and was ready for next day hunt. Once back in the stand it didn’t take long I was prime rib for those mosquitoes. I pulled out my thermacell and quickly got it going. Within 10 mins not 1 mosquito was bothering me. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Multi generations
My family has every generations of portable thermacell we just recently went duck hunting and three out of five that we had made there went into the water and stoped working we went back home dryer them out and they worked just like befor your product is simply amazing it keeps mosquitoes away in every situation that I have had it in love your product

Must have if your outdoors
I have purchased 3 of these thermacel portable repeller products so far. I've been using them for over 3 years now. I like them much more than using some chemical spray and putting it on myself. Great for any outdoor activity where bugs may be bothering you.

No more bites!!
We have been using Thermacell for over 2 year and LOVE it. I can't imagine camping or picnicing without this. So much better than endless applications of Deet products, or citronella candles that REEK but don't work. Love your product!!!

Couldn't do my job without it!
My name is Dale Boyer. I'm a professional bear hunter in which hunt and film for my TV show, BearMagnet TV. I've hunted bears for 33 years, first starting old school by taping cuffs and ankles, wearing surgical gloves under camo gloves and a head net... since in the invention of Thermacell I no longer wear anything other than my camo and face paint. NO MORE mosquito's or blackflies to contend with. Believe me.... They work!

Greatest bug repellent for hunters ever conceived!
My friends and I hunt the swamps of Florida. We'd never survive without a Thermacell. When hunting, we obviously can't use a smelly bug repellent. The Thermacell saves us from the millions of disease carrying mosquitos that share the swamp with us! The deer never react to the scent of a Thermacell. Wouldn't even consider venturing afield without one!!

It's need "off" marked more clearly!!

I got my first thermacell from a friend. Never went back to spray repellent .Bow season MUST HAVE. Roosting wild turkeys at dark is insect brutality so get a thermacell or suffer !!

Essential in Our Area
I have four units. Where we live in the deep marsh of Maryland's Chesapeake Bay we encounter skeeters and flies daily. The Thermacell clears the turkey and goose blinds and deer stands within 5 minutes and keeps us comfortable without the odor of sprays. Even just sitting on the deck in the evening it is great at eliminating no-see ums and other biting insects. An absolute necessity to enjoy our way of life. All of my family and friends who come to visit have purchased Thermacell units.

Camo thermalcell
I've used thermalcell for over 5 years hunting in South Carolina where our state bird is a mosquito! We not only have a lot of mosquitos but they are very hungry. With thermalcell I can hunt all day without moving. I've owned at least 10 to 15. I have a tendency to lose them. They are the best hunting equipment I own next to my crossbow or guns.

Hunt Longer!
I cannot imagine taking to the turkey woods in Spring, Bear woods in August and late September/October Iowa whitetail hunts without these. It simply would not be possible to hunt as long as I do without these. They have allowed me to sit longer and pest free....enabling my boys' and I to enjoy our hunts more and have more success.

Great invention
I take mine everywhere on my hunting trips. I hunt on two continents, it never fails me. I use it since 2008 even got the heated insoles. I spread the Thermacell gospel where ever i go. I see them here too in The Netherlands, that is where i live. Works great here too, my friend uses one too now.
