I used a titebond color matched caulk on my exterior siding. The product has been on for 5 years give or take a year. The product failed after only 2 years and continues to get lighter in color. The product especially looks bad in areas that were covering nail holes and smeared. Smearing the product via your thumb is not approved by the manuafacturer. In these areas applied not to manufacture specifications the caulk looks like bird doo doo on my siding. The maufacturer said that painting over the caulk would fix the problem. So why did I pay for expensive colored matched caulk. Don't spend the extra money for color matching caulk for sidin in my opinion. I would not recommend this manufacturer for colored caulk.
