Customer Reviews for TOLEDO Electronic Stainless Steel Deadbolt with Remote Control

After less than 2 years of use, this deadbolt started disintegrating. This is definitely not a stainless steel product. My door is covered by a porch and it is not exposed to sun nor to rain. Look at the attached pictures. Very poor quality. Avoid!

I read other reviews and was slightly apprehensive about this unit. Well, here was my experience: Opened the box, sorted through the parts. Read the directions and commenced. Thirty minutes later I was completely cleaned up and finished. It installed simply and easily. The instructions were very clear as to how to do so. The programming started out to be a bit challenging, then I thought, maybe I should follow the directions exactly?? BINGO! The unit worked perfectly. BE SURE to follow the instructions and you will have no problem with installation or programming the unit. I have been using the lock for several weeks now, and it performs flawlessly. Both engaging and disengaging with the unit itself as well as the remote controls. No complaints at all.

This is great! Instructions were relatively easy to follow...for my Granddaughter. Best of all - no more keys to carry or forget!!! I can easily put in four digits and I'm IN!!! LOVE IT! My grandaughter uses her remote and no issues!

This is my second Electronic Deadbolt and I'm very happy with this product.

I purchased one of these lock sets for my cabin and have had nothing but trouble. In 3 years it has worked only one time. I have to use the key to get in. I’m going to buy a Schlage and throw this one in the trash. I have two of those and never once had an issue. This one is the poorest excuse for lock set I’ve ever owned.

Lock works well although the remotes have a very short distance- have to be on the deck before they work- otherwise works well

The unit was fairly easy to install and program. However, after about a year the unit wouldn't work when the weather got cold. Tried changing the batteries, didn't make a difference . . . .

If the door is already drilled, it is extremely easy to install the lock according to the instructions. What I did not find so easy with the instructions that it brought was the programming. I had to search for a YouTube video.

Very good. It wasn't too heinous to program. Works very well.

This was a replacement I had this model for 3 years I have changed the batteries what’s before but when I changed them the second time the Lock stopped working could not reprogram it hope this problem is not going to be a recurring problem

Very hard to program company not very helpful

Works fine, the wife loves the automatic locking and the remote open. The major complaint we have is the system has to be reset often.

could get the key fobs to work but not the buttons on the door. Absolutely no customer service in english. even the email it got was in another language.

Cannot figure out why the sequence do not work on the lock. Tried everything. Viewed the video numerous times. Remote controls don’t work. Very disappointed

plate holes was not right size. use hammer and screw to make it the right size. Installed it and works.
