I followed the simple instructions and it seems to have worked immediately. I haven't seen any mole activity for several days. It's so great to use a product that actually does what it claims. For about $20 and 20 minutes of my time, I couldn't be more satisfied. I highly recommend it.

Tomcat mole killer worm bait
I bought 3 pkg of mole killer from my local Home Depot and all 3 pkg had the worm contents melted into the bottom of the pkgs. There is no way to know the contents are in a glob until you attempt to use it. :(
Too bad the product is packaged in such a way that this happens.

Finally something that works
I have dealt with so many moles over the years but no luck eliminating them. I overheard a conversation at work three weeks ago about the TomCat worm and how this person swears by them. I went to our local lumber yard and bought a box of ten. I put three out in three main areas of mole activity. One week later I couldn't find any new mounds or runways. When I mowed the grass the same one week later, I ran over two dead moles near the spots I placed the worms. AMAZING!!! All these years of frustration trying to combat these creatures but now I have a weapon that works. Thank you TOMCAT!!!! Feel free to let others see this. I am really grateful to say the least!

Relief
I have had mole issues for years and the damage was ramping up the past two years. My lawn was taking a beating. There are poison traps repellents available I didn't want to drive the little pest into my neighbors yard so I opted to poison it. These poison worms are replicas of the moles favorite food. I just followed a live tunnel and took the dirt from the areas pushed up by mole once located I dug just a couple of inches and found both sides and placed a worm in each then covered over hole I made. The mole push dirt up every few days and after three or four days I have not seen any new activity or new tunnel locations. I assume the moles have eaten and died within their tunnels. I should have done this last year. I would have reduced my lawn damage.

I can't believe this stuff works!!!!
After several years of hiring a company to trap our moles (very expensive!), I am so glad I tried this - one half of one worm into an active mole tunnel and it's a goner! We found it dead above ground two days later. I cannot even say how excited I am that this worked and it saved us soooo much money. The key is to use gloves - the mole will smell human on the worm if you touch it with your bare hands, and then it won't eat it (or so I've been told).

Caddy Shack Moles
Followed the directions... pushed the worms 18"-24" down the hole and covered up the entrance
. Two days later the worms were laying on the ground outside a new mound (pretty dang funny if you ask me). Put the rejected worms in a zip lock and took them back to Home Depot. The returns desk got a big laugh out of it, too. Big question now is what to do about the moles... I guess I need to watch Caddy Shack and see how Bill Murray got rid of the gophers. : )

junk
This thing was a waste of time for me. It didnt work and was next to inpossible to set in the ground. I checked the depth, dug deep and wide enough trenches that basically left a big hole in the yard virtually destroying the mole tunnel becuase it wouldnt set, and even them with putting all my weight into it was next to impossible to set and when i did finally succeed nothing.

Don't wast your money!
We have mole colonies in our back yard and I have tried using this product over the period of 9 months and not once have I trapped a mole. BIG waste of hard earned money. Might have well buried it in the back yard.

I am sorry that Tomcat Mole Killer Earthworm Bait did not control the moles as expected. It will take 2 days for the mole to die after ingesting the bait. It is important that the bait be placed in an active tunnel. The bait application may need to be repeated until all of the moles are controlled. An alternative measure, such as the use of Tomcat Mole Traps, may need to be used in conjunction with the baits.

Short lived hope
Followed instructions. Placed worms deep into active tunnels being careful not to touch the worms directly.
Gophers are not interested in them. Quickly ignored and kicked them out of the burrow. Gophers never took a single bite out them, and were clearly pushed out in spite of being far into their tunnels.
I really wanted these to work. Expensive experiment.

Same item Pest Control Tech use
The Key to product sucess is you must wear gloves while handling baits or mole will smell human scent on baits and will avoid them.

Really Works!
Tried traps and all they did was chase the mole into neighbors' yards, once the traps were gone, the mole returned.
Used these worms per the package instructions, and no more mole. Been trying to get rid of the mole for about a year, so I'm happy this worked.
Kind of pricey, but if you want results, this is it.

Give it 3 days..and you WON'T see new activity from that mole run!
I wrote a review originally comparing myself to Bill Murray trying to kill the gopher in "Caddyshack." Now I'm victorious. First and foremost, go out and crush the mole runs and mounds. Go out the next day and see which runs are active. You cut the worm in half to save, use a screwdriver make a hole, drop the worm into the run, cover the hole up...and wait. Each day I'd go out and crush the runs and mounds again to track progress. Then one day, you'll go out, and there won't be any raised runs or mounds. And if you're lucky, you'll see the dead mole somewhere around the area. I've found 2 dead moles, but the other runs I'm assuming they died undeground.
Works great!

I won the war!
After an arduous, month-long battle with moles in my front yard I was just about to wave the white flag. Then one evening I deployed four of these worms into active tunnels and never saw another sign of the enemy again! This product works.

Didn't work for me.
Let's just say I placed these in the mole runs. andddd after 48 hrs I saw the poison bait back above ground and not the dead moles. they might as well be laughing at me. I'm going to try the Bill Murray-Caddyshack approach. time for traps.

Easy to use, worked first time!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Worked great, only concern was that "worms" had melted in the tray at some point and were distorted. That said they still worked ... Bye, bye mole(s)!

Excellent product with quick results.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use the worms in my lawn between my house and the woods. I had a problem with moles and every thing else I tried didn't work. A person a a lawn and garden shop recommend the worms to me. I am happy to say that after the first time I used them they took care of my problem. The next summer I had a small problem and by using the product per instructions, they took care of my problem first try again. I am sold on Tomcat Mole Killer. I would recommend this product to anyone. I know this is for a sweepstakes, but I would have written the same thing without the sweepstakes.

tom cat for moles
There was a new development right next to me and the moles came into my yard. they had tunnels all over the place. I read about Tomcat and I bought it. Wherever there was a tunnel I dug it up a little bit and put in half of worm. I cover the hole with a brick so I could look and see if the worm was gone. no more moles!!

2nd Year to Use
We used these Worms last Year at my office in North Texas.
Sandy Loam had long runways after the
rainy April.
The worms first moved them around the building then like "magic" the product worked.
No more runways,& NO MORE moles & no more damage to the plants that are healthy again.
Today in our black gumbo soil at home 35 miles east of the office new runways and 4 surface holes in freshly mulched flower beds.
So off to get another box of the "TomCat"
Worms. Will check in the morning for new runways and see if they work in this soil as we start this project in the morning
Stay tuned for our Follow up Review.
Regards,
A Happy Homeowner

Worked every time I used it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Finally a product to get rid of moles that really works and is so simple to use.
I started using i t last year. Each time I saw. mole ruination of my yard I used the worms and each time no more mole activity. It's amazing! Last November I had lots of mole activity and used almost a whole box. This spring I had no activity for the first time in years. I see neighbors lawns all torn up by moles. Moles eat worms and grubs not dry pellets. No more setting those impossible hit and miss traps. I've tried the smoke bombs, juicy fruit gum, filling the tunnels with water, pitchfork method, several types of traps, I was determined not to let these creatures ruin what I have worked so hard for so many years to make beautiful. It is a bit pricey so I use 1/2 a worm each time.

Stops the mole activity without ever seeing a mole!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We lost our mole chasing doxie in 2012. Each year the moles came and caused tracks in the front back and side yards and each year he dug them up and killed them. While doing us a great service he tore up the yard more than the moles did and finding dead moles was NOT a treat! In 2013 we decided to give these worms a try. As each track appeared I would locate an entrance or exit (or create one or two in the track, drop in 1/2 worm and then the other 1/2 in the other entrance/exit. I did this for every active track. Within a short period of time track activity stopped. and I could restore the ground. I repeated this a second time later in the summer when new tracks appeared. Then I enjoyed the balance of the summer and fall with no active mole activity! Just this week I see a track in the front and I have a trip to my local "big box" hardware store planned for this weekend! It may take some time but this product works!

NO QUALITY CONTROL!
Yes their were 10 worms in the package, but only 4 of them were the full length of 4.8 inches.
The other 6 worms were about 1 inch each.
I did use worms and they have NOT stopped the moles in my backyard! Maybe I'm not good at finding active tunnels.

This stuff really really works
I have had moles this year 10 times worse than ever before. I was shoveling about a half wheelbarrow load of dirt from their mounds almost every day. The poison peanuts must be vitamins, the traps don't trigger, I crushed their little homes almost daily with an 1,100 lb. roller, but they had about ruined my yard. I tried one box of this in multiple active tunnels. I tore the worms in half because they are expensive. THE MOUNDS STOPPED IN 1 DAY and they have been gone for 10 days. This stuff really works and I didn't have to spray poison all over the yard. Only down side is they should spend as much on product as they do on the giant box.

Man, this stuff really works.
I tried this product about 10 days ago, it was my first time using Tomcat mole killer. I tried the poison peanuts product and it didn't work in my case. The Tomcat product really got the job done and I used half a worm at each bait location because it was easier to handle that way and I could bait twice as many locations. Anyway, it took about 5 days for all mole activity to come to complete stop. I have to tell you I am so relieved that they are gone, they took a toll on my lawn. Obviously, if the return someday i'll be ready with the Tomcat.

The Mole Reaper
It's hard to tell if a poison works when there are no carcasses. But I've put these worms in the active tunnel runs, waited a few days to check to see if the worm was still there. If not, I'd pack down the run. More often than not, the run stays down, and the critter is presumably dead somewhere. I smelled rot once in an area that was baited, and figured it worked. I often wonder if I had 20 moles, killed 18 and there are just 2 left, or if there was only 2, and all my efforts were for nothing. I'm betting on the former, and I'm stocking up.
