Customer Reviews for Tornado Pac-Vac Backpack Vacuum Cleaner

I have to disagree with the other review, I assume he planned to use this like every other shop vac for every nasty sweeping job you can come up with. I first saw this when the guy that refinished my wood floors had one and I was highly impressed with it, and still am. For one, the backpack part of it alone makes it nicer than fighting the wheels on most shop vacs dragging them around with you. The design, fit, form, and accessories are great and it works very well...but compare apples to apples...it's not a massive HP unit, it's for portability, smaller jobs, etc ... not sucking up large chunks of heavy stuff. I love it, although you pretty much have to order the filters and bags since nobody seems to carry them ...so that's the only down side.

Got this online from home depot after watching Tornado's fancy youtube promo video. Was excited until I turn on the vacuum, and realized how weak the suction is. This is probably as powerful as a very average in-home vacuum, and definitely not worth the price it's asking for. Will go for a dyson afterall.
