14 years I've struggled with the 30+ heads on my property. We're on reclaimed water, and the pressure provided by the county is anywhere from VACUUM to 120 PSI. Between heads that have blown sky high, to just gurgling but not popping up, the Rainbird "surepop" heads that were installed were simply unable to consistently provide water. In fact, when the pressure dropped below 30 psig, the water that was coming up around the seal of the riser was more than what was coming out of the spray tip. It never dawned on me that THIS was the main problem. Recently, my neighbor's heads were all up and spraying beautifully - so I quickly started my sprinkler. Plenty of water came gushing out of the seals at each of the 9 heads - but not enough pressure to make them stand up. I then examined his heads - they were Toros. A bit more research, and I purchased enough 507Z's to replace them all. Ever since, I've had NO leaks at the shafts, and with only one or to exceptions, I've had adequate spray to water the lawn. My other neighbors who still have the Rainbirds, are still scratching their heads as to why we're able to have adequate pressure and they don't. DO NOT HESITATE TO GET THESE.

Toro makes the best pop up sprinkler period. When I could not run a zone with Rain Bird and Orbit sprinkler heads secondary to loss of pressure from leaking at the stem I replaced all with Toro pop ups and problem solved. No more leaks and now more than enough pressure to run a large zone of numerous sprinkler heads.

Best popup sprinkler on the market in my opinion. The ability to adjust the range from 0 to 360 and rotate the popup stem while sprinkling make the job easier. Many quarter and half heads calcify closed over time - these Toro heads seem to last longer. The price is comparable to other brands.

These are adjustable up to 360 degrees, but adjusting it to 180 is a challenge. Prepare to get wet when adjustment is made after installation. The best way to do the adjustment is when it is running. If I need another head it will be one that is already pre adjusted to the pattern I need.

Pros Great Quality Cons pattern adjustment is difficult.
