This unit functioned well from September 2016 to today, July 2017. I came outside this morning, 40 minutes after my sprinkler turned on, and found my sprinkler still running on zone 1. My system has 3 zones. Each zone was set to run for 10 minutes, consecutively. Had I not been home, I would have come home in the evening to find zone 1 still running. I switched the dial to 'off', but zone 1 would not shut off. I turned the dial to every setting, and zone 1 would still not shut off. I had to turn the sprinkler off at the spigot (water valve) outside. I then tried to manually select zones 2 and 3. Zone 1 is the only one being activated. I unplugged and reset the unit. Zone 1 is still the only one being activated. Here is another interesting thing. Zone 1 is turns on whether the dial is on 'off' or 'run'. I unplugged the unit, and I'll be replacing it.

The Toro sprinkler control was easy to install and the directions to program the unit were easily inputted and the controller works like a charm. Very pleased with everything including the on line purchase and pick up at my local store.

I purchased this product because of the price. It was half as much as the other ones with the same features. It was easy to program my four different stations.

The controller was very similar to previous Toro controller that was destroyed by a nearby lightning strike which made the installation and programming a breeze.

Online description didn't mention this is for inside installation only. When I received the timer the instructions indicated it was NOT for outside installation. I returned it.

The first Toro Lawn Master II 6-Zone Timer unit that I had failed to operate after 10 years of operation. Replaced with New Toro Lawn Master II 6-Zone Timer and it works perfectly.

For some reason the device repeated watering program.L

Good timer. I’ve had several over they years. Instructions r terrible. It took my Gardner and nephew 3 visits to get the cycle system programmed. service is helpful

I've had other Toro's Lawn Master and this model is very basic. It seems as the competitors have outdone Toro or nothing is built like they used too.

Easy to program with instruction

I had to return the Toro. It was to hard to install. I bought a Rain Bird and installed in 5 minutes. However, the Home Depot employees were extremely helpful

This was really easy to set up.

It’s nice and compact to be mounted anywhere with features found on more expensive models. The display is fairly dark so be sure to place it in a well-lighted area as the battery indicator is quite small. Keep the manual close for reprogramming because some functions have “steps” for resetting. I keep mine in a zip-lock bag tied to the wiring. Plan ahead when you buy the wiring because that’s not included. Consider getting the 6 or 8 wire in the event you'd like to expand coverage. Also be sure to check the solenoids every 2 years and tighten as the wiring tends to loosen over time.

This is a real simple sprinkler timer to setup and use for the zones I have!
