Just received the machine and it arrived when scheduled. Did the appropriate assembly and started it up. Ran fine. So far this year there has not been any snow to plow so unable to comment on how it works.

Sloppy from the start
I bought this last week and it arrived assembled (which I thought was good) but it was done all wrong. There was a bolt lodged in the augur, which caused it to stall when engaged. After much worry and troubleshooting, I sorted that out. Secondly, it rolled backwards in neutral, which I eventually learned was an issue with the drive assembly. Finally, instead of a klik pin holding the wheel together, a coat hangar was bent into the spot, creating a dangerous hazard. Also, there was no manual or anything else included, which makes me think this wasn't a new item but a return.

Best blower

Not perfect

The chute controls— the part that raises and lowers the discharge angle — was not properly attached. I had to bring it to an authorized service rep to get that fixed

Used the blower the first snow we had last week in NE PA. It throws wet heavy snow without issue. It blew the packed snow with antiskid on the roadside onto my driveway 40' so I had to point the chute deflector downward. The shape of the impeller seems to avoid stones getting stuck and snapping the shear bolts. Time will tell. My one comment is the skids are metal, not plastic. Sounds better except they were dragging on the driveway asphalt making it hard to steer. Over dirt and grass no issue. Overall a good initial purchase.

very nice !!
great snowblower , my first one ... unboxing and assembly was easy . my only cons was the different size bolts and the one lock nut that came loose and i never found in the box ... if you used to same size bolts it wouldnt have been an issue , i did have to go buy a lock not .. not a big deal ! it was the lock nut for the handle bolt .

Nothing wrong with the machine, but the assembly of the machine sucked. I got it home and unloaded it. I found later that one of the auger cables wasn't hooked up and checked it, the lever that the cabled was supposed to be hooked to was broken, only had one bolt pair side for the upright handle where each side is supposed to have 2 bolts, the other auger cable was attached wrong,etc.

Good snowblower
Easy to operate, starts easily, throws snow very far, the only negative point is it has a tendancy to slip, should have bought a model with tracks instead.

delivered with a destroyed box. no mahual
I appreciate them helping me slide it in the garage, but I don't even have assembly instructions. shredded box. NO MANUALS OR PAPERWORK

Great!
Will hopefully remember to provide review after a few years of use. Used it only once on a small driveway berm - amazing, large beast that is easy to control. I like the turning and the joystick and that there are so shear pins!

Toro wins again. Stop looking at other snowblower
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Simply awesome machine. Classic Toro quality. Love the joystick to control the chute. My only complaint so far is power. I am a bit disappointed that it does bog down a bit on what I would consider average snow load. Otherwise I am so happy with my purchase!
