[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my Toro 42” Zero Turn mower! It’s the perfect size for me and for my yard!

Bought Toro Zero turn. Paid 8 grand and found the left led light has broken wire. Toro refuses to send a new light. Said I have to take it to a dealer repair shop which is over an hour away. Their customer support is awful.

Saw toros response to their crappy aluminum deck on a guys review. Searching now for a new deck after the deck dropped - aluminum hangers detached from deck that holds deck up. Bent front, underneath. Guy got it right. Don’t buy this mower unless you have a flat level lawn without any obstacles. Hit one and seeyaa! Also crapworthy decks I have had in the past: cub, mtd, craftsman - spend an extra grand and get a mower with a steel deck!!! 4 mowers later and you think I’d heed my own advice???

Had i paid full price, i would give 2-3 stars. First mower…delivered and wouldn’t run correctly, then would cut off. The product was beat up, dents, tear in the plastic chute, and a hole in the console. The delivery gentleman was fabulous. He loaded it back up and returned it. Second mower…same deliver guy…outstanding. Mower showed up without a key because HD said i already had it. It runs/cute well, but the steering is off. One bar goes further than the other, so its a constant struggle to go straight…add in my inexperience and it was a mess. That said i got a grand off, so I’m not sure i have a whole lot of room to complain…and hopefully the warranty can fix it. I do want to give a tganks to the 2 ladies from management and the gentlyfrom the lawn and garden that helped me. They were all very helpful and professional

Delivered to my house, ready to mow, representative went through everything and gave us some valuable tips. Operating the mower was a little tricky at first but we soon got used to the light controls. Very straight forward machine, easy maintenance.

I Brought my 42" toro4 1/2 year ago. Love my zero turn. This spring when in for services just to make sure everything was a okay. I don't mulch wet grass I wash my deck 2 times per year and put it away clean.change oil in spring. Love my zero turn.

Excellent quality mower only flaws are low quality battery, and the tube to drain oil is impossible to remove.

Bought this piece of crap Toro mower in April 2018 and the deck already rusted through on top of that the main drive belt needed to be replaced because of misplaced washer there was installed wrong from the factory never ever buying a Toro brand mower again! avoid this model unless you live in Sunny Arizona.

The delivery service was very good. The lawn mower came to my driveway clean and ready for gas and use. I was disappointed that the front frame was not assembled properly from the factory. The tab from the left side of the frame reinforcer was not installed in the slot provided like the one on the right. Can be seen if you look carefully at the picture attached. Not a big deal but wouldn't have suspected that repairs would be required right out of the box.

My experience at the “The Home Depot (#2803)”in Coon Rapids store could not have been better. Your Home Depot associate “Jordan” was great through the whole process from the start of my first question to completing the purchase. Home Depot should hire and promote more people like Jordan. I rate the store experience excellent 5 out of 5. This lawn mower lacked an hour meter, mulching kit, and no assist (spring, electric, or otherwise) to help adjust the cutting height. The store at the time of purchase did not have any of these accessories in stock. Later I installed an hour meter, mulching kit, and a deck foot lift assist kit. An hour meter should be standard equipment. Having a city lot a mulch kit is necessary so I do not throw cut grass into my neighbor’s properties or against my house when mowing between the houses. I knew the deck was going to be stressing my old hands. The mower performs well i.e. starting, driving, handling, and mulching. Only because I needed to add the three accessories to make this machine more functional and easier to use I deducted one star. I rate the machine good 4 out 5. I contacted support at Toro.com at least twice trying to get an answer. The manual tells you to shut off the Toro Commercial V-Twin 708cc engine at FAST throttle position and I wanted to know why. I have always reduced throttle when shutting of small engines in the past. Toro support could NOT answer this question and told me to contact a Toro dealer. Apparently, the support group has no communications with the engineering. I rate Toro online support as very poor 1 out of 5. I have only mowed twice since I have owned this machine. I have owned the machine for less than one month. The machine met my expectations and I am happy with my purchase.

Mower does everything as advertised... great value. Definitely recommend it if you are in the market for a zero turn.

Although I have only had it for a month, I absolutely love it! It rides like a dream. It makes the lawn look great. I appreciate the white-glove delivery. The only problem I have, is that I wish I had more lawn to mow!

Great mower so far. Tons of power for a 1 acre lot and cuts through high grass with no issue

We haven't mowed with it yet, we live in southeast Texas so the yard is a swamp in February. We "laid to rest" our 2008 Toro Timecutter. It made it thru 2 floods, 4 hurricanes, and served a 2 acre unlevel yard well. I'm confident this one will be just as good! Rating the experience of purchase with HD. Superb! Mower was delivered by a local Toro dealer who was phenomenal! Perfect buying experience. Thank you!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Only used the mower a handful of times but so far it has been excellent. I especially appreciate the 3 ground speed options as it makes it easier to control the mower in tight spaces. The cut quality is excellent and the chute design prevents a build up of clipping at the discharge area. The smaller 42" deck makes it easier to fit through gates and manuver close to shrubs, trees, etc. The engine has plenty of power for a mower of this size

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Even though I have only used it a couple of times, it cuts my grass very well. The grass is all the same height and there is none that doesn’t get cut and there is no scalping. The mower is very intuitive to use and the controls and features are laid out nicely. For once, I’m excited to cut the grass instead of spending over an hour pushing a mower since my ACL is blown out.

Bought the mower with sheet metal deck and 22 horse Chinese engine 3 or 4 years ago. Cutting 3/4 acre with it and it does it's job. I keep the deck clean and the wheel bearings greased and that's it. Same oil in it that came in it and it's still crystal clear. Good build quality.

Ready to use as soon as it delivered. Great mower for the price and works perfect for the 2 acre property I maintain.

My purchase from HD was farmed out to the local dealer, that was new to me. The mower never cut as good as my last one which was great and lasted years. So I bought the same model only new. It was junk from the start and still under warranty. The oil plug fell out while mowing and the motor seized and TORO will not stand behind their warranty. (Long story short) The blades were also on backwards and it always left a center strip and I had to mow twice for it to look decent.

I never was able to try my mower out , bad starter solenoid ( seems to be a common issue with Toro) and it was the last one they had so it is going back. If you can’t even get it off the trailer why keep it.

I bought this because I was going to replace my old Snapper 150z and I've never owned a new mower before. Turns out I'm keeping the Snapper. Its pretty big and bulky for a residential mower. The seat sits pretty far back so you're swinging more than half the mower around in front of you. It's also pretty slow. A slow zero turn means you turn slow too. Biggest disappointment is the deck lever. I had to grind down the edges to be able to lower it. Like the title says, not really impressed.

While I am still getting use to the precise handling even with my learning curve it has cut my mowing time way down. the cut is just beautiful and the comfort level surpasses any of my old steering wheel mowers. I couldn't be happier and I love the fact i can ride with my "water"!
