Blade Snapped in Half! Stay Away
I purchased this mower just over a year ago. During that time I made sure to do the regular maintenance, oil changes, cleaned, etc. For the first year everything was great and ran smoothly. However, just this last week while my wife was mowing, the blade snapped in half, ripped through the back rubber piece and almost hit her in the leg. There were no roots or rocks in the area that she could have ran over either. Very dangerous and could have been much worse than it was! I do not recommend.

Fall xlean up

2 months old and doesn’t work already.
The blades will not engage. We’ve only used the mower 4 times and now it’s useless. So upset.

Great mower for Medium to Large lawns
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just moved into a new home. I own a 21" Toro for my back yard and have a 50" Zero turn for my front yard. Unfortunately, the Zero turn is a bit too big for the new houses yard. It leaves too many tire tracks in the lawn, even though it makes mowing a dream. I bought the 30" Time Master in hopes it would leave a better look on the lawn. For someone with a Medium to large lawn, the 30"TM is great. It is a bit more difficult to turn than my 21" Toro (weight), but it cuts 50% more per cut. So, your done a bit quicker. I have not tried to mulch the lawn, only bagging and using the chute to blow the cuttings. As long as you don't have to turn the unit all that much, it's great mower.

Fantastic, Powerful Machine!
Superb purchase. Strong, reliable engine. The mulcher works well and looks fantastic. The adjustable handle makes storage and transport easy. All 4 wheels height adjust easily and only requires 2 setting changes.

Didn't even make it half a season!
Brand new, probably used it about 12 to 15 times and it is already broken. Blades will not engage. Quality of this mower is junk!

NO and Never! Don't do it
This is the third Toro time master that we've gotten. The first 2 died out number 1 within 3 weeks after having it the second one was a day after 30 days. And now this one a day after 30 days so now we're stuck with a lawn mower that doesn't work. It has something To Do with the puli. I'm going to reach out to Toro since home depot isn't willing to work with the customer.

One of the biggest regrets was buying this mower. If the grass is higher then 1/2” forget anout mulching. Higher then 1” the side shoot gets clogged. Havent even tried the bagger cause dont want to deal with anymore aggravation. If the grass has any bit of moisture dont even try to cut the grass. Most useless machine Ive ever bought. Motor is too small for this machine and the noise of the motor is horrible. Louder then anything Ive experience

When cutting grass over 6 inches tall, mow at the highest cutting height setting and walk slower; then mow again at a lower setting for the best lawn appearance. If the grass is too long or wet, the machine may plug and cause the engine to stall. Avoid mowing in wet conditions. If the lawn appearance is unsatisfactory we suggest walking at a slower pace while mowing or overlap cutting swaths instead of cutting a full swath with each pass. 30” TORO Personal Pace mower

Drive mechanism works sporadically. Often significant force is still required to move the mower.
The wide cutting path has significantly reduced my mowing time however.
