P1 Error
Purchased less than a year ago and it has been stored properly since October of last year. Now, I install it and every couple of hours I have the P1 error. This error never occurred last year for the whole season.

    P1 Error again and again
    P1 error again again after I installed this morning every 1-2 hrs. I purchased this unit less than a year ago. It has been properly stored since October of last year. I never had this error the whole season it was used.

      Constant P1 errors, have to drain every couple of hours
      Bought this for an attic bedroom. It worked great last summer. Son drained it and stored it for the winter. We just set it up this week, and it has constant P1 errors. We drain it; it runs for an hour or two, and then another P1 error and it needs to be drained. I've never had an air conditioner (or any other appliance) break down with only one season of use. My son said, "Mom, you got a lemon." I'm disabled & on a fixed income; I can't afford to repair or replace appliances every year.

        Too Much Water All of a Sudden
        Purchased this AC last summer when the ac when out in our house. Put it in our bedroom and liked it so much we kept using at night when we slept. Obviously, we did not use it over the winter months and just turned it back on recently again. Not sure what happened, but it kept turning off every hour or so because the water needed to be drained. When we used it last year, I only had to drain it once a week or so. Now, its every couple of hours. Ridiculous!

          I bought this unit in April and it worked great for a few months. Today the P1 error code has been coming on frequently. I'll drain the unit and 30 min later it appears again. Such a pain! I've cleaned the filters (bc I read that dirty filters could the issue) but it keeps happening. So frustrated since these next couple of days are going to be scorcher and we have two small kids. I may have to bite the bullet and get a new one tomorrow, different brand of course.

            Worked fine for a few months but now I consistently get a P1 error code even after draining. The unit will work for about 30 minutes until the next P1 code. I’ve cleaned the filters and don’t know know what to do at this point. I’ll be calling customer service tomorrow since the unit is still under warranty.

            Gets cold very quickly but I did not notice a reduction of noise when I went from high to low. The unit shudders a little bit when it is turning off. Easy to install, good space saver. The 12,000 BTU is the best difference and I do recommend that. I have an LG with 8,000 BTU and I feel the LG is a sturdier unit but also a bit noiser. I think most of them are loud. Have not had it more than 3 months so we will see.
