Very sturdy compared to the thin walled trash container it replaced. The extra weight has prevented it from falling over, when empty, every time we have winds exceeding 20 mph. The attached lid is convenient and easy to open. My only disappointment is the lid makes it difficult to install a plastic trash bag. Otherwise, I recommend this trash can.

Bought this as a present for my older parents so...
Bought this as a present for my older parents so they could easily wheel their trash to the curb and it is perfect! Not too big and cumbersome but big enough for weekly trash. Attached cover means no chasing the cover down the street in a wind storm or losing it somewhere! Solid construction - can even be picked up by the garbage truck if needed. Pricey, but hopefully worth it.
