Easy to lay down. Make sure your knife is new and sharp or use scissors.

The underlayment was easy to install and provides a little spring to your step! Since the vapor barrier is already part of the underlayment it saves you time. I also appreciate the acoustical value of the underlayment.

This is a must underneath engineered flooring. Give the floor a solid real hardwood feel.

Works well under 1/2" clicklock bamboo and laminates.

Very good product. It exceeded my expectations and is true to its purpose of claims. It is durable in strength but easy to install. The first part of the project was completed about 5 months ago and now I will use it throughout where laminate is going to be installed. A tip for first timers, using good quality duct tape is a must!

The vapor barrier is more delicate than wet tissue paper. I have tape patches everywhere. It feels good to walk on, and I'm sure the insulation is good. If the vapor barrier wasn't so thin and delicate, I'd give it 5 stars. I am worried. Not sure if I covered every hole that was easily poked through. Wish I could get a refund, but I'm too far into the project.

This is a really nice underlayment product. We used it under laminate flooring and it provides a cushion for walking on it while softening the noise. It was simple to install with a vapor barrier tape between rolls. We used it directly over the cement floor in the lower level to ensure any moisture there is prevented from reaching the flooring.

We used the underlayment to protect the new laminate we installed in our upstairs. The barrier protects from water and condensation and also provides a dampener between floor levels. It is very easy to cut with a utility knife and stays in place without too much effort. I highly recommend using this on ground floors and upstairs. The extra cushion helps level out floor boards.

This underlayment looks very similar to different types of underlayment. Its a decent one but when looking closely I do wonder a bit on Quality. The recycled count is good on this one, and the padding itself seems to be well constructed. This does not look to be a premium one so that padding part is a bit thinner and not as dense, The vapor barrier seems much thinner than other vapor barriers. Specially I am comparing it to that nation wide discount lumber store. I would say their version of Underlayment had a vapor barrier at least twice as thick, and their version is not much more. At this price point its a good underlayment for basic project and I had no problem using it. If your using it for a project under expensive flooring I would use a premium version and not this.

This was the first time using this underlayment; it's much sturdier and thicker than the TM 2-1 underlayment that I'm accustomed to using. The side that rests on the concrete reminds me of carpet padding, just not as spongy. The side that the flooring rests on is an orange, rubber-like coating. I did notice a slight odor when rolling out the underlayment; however this smell quickly dissipated within a couple a minutes. I didn't have problems cutting the material to size or marking with a permanent marker. I used duct tape to bind the seams together as indicated on the instructions on the back of the roll. I did notice the flooring didn't have as much of a hollow sound, which is a plus. Although it's twice as much as the 2-in-1 underlayment, the flooring sound quality as well as the material is much better. I'll be using this more often when doing the floors.

Laid this on half a room where most of the walking takes place and have noticed a big difference in the noise level already. This barrier will become standard in all of my flooring projects. It is very easy to lay and taping the seams as requested in the instructions helps hold it in place plus gives you a continuous barrier. I am to the point that the difference is so noticeable that I will pull up the side I used a less expensive brand on and relay the floor with the TrafficMaster. It makes that much of a difference. The next floor I put in will be all 100% trafficMaster underlayment. Great product, Easy to lay, heavy duty feeling, High end product. Stay Safe

Installed this product at a recommendation from a neighbor. Seems like it will work fine. It made us itchy to work with. I recommend wearing gloves when handling. Our main concern is about where it is made. The bag says made in USA but there is a label on every roll that says made in MEXICO? Not a confidence builder...

I needed the smaller roll to update a job but this is what I had to order to complete the job. The product does what its advertisement says.

This is worth every penny, our bed floor was ice cold when it got cold in October. After we installed it the floor was normal didn't feel damp,v made our room feel so much more comfortable

Love this stuff and we’ve used it multiple times in different rooms of our house. It’s great quality, adds a sound barrier & cushion. Put this on top of existing wood floors in upstairs bedroom and laid vinyl on it.. cured the creek!

Well known type of undelayment used by many makers of laminate flooring. HD is much closer to me than the other major flooring stores. Only difference, is the top color. HD has theirs with the orange color.

be careful, traffic master shorted us 90% of our material and home Depot had no clue that happened. when we called home Depot they offered to get us the missing product 3 weeks out. no good. product is great but the logistics is horrible
