Nice looking floor!
I love this product and specifically this one that can be grouted. It turned out amazing as you see in the photos. A big tip: before you grout, make sure to remove the sticky adhesive. I am still trying to remove it now and the grout is separating from the tile. I might have to regrout later. Btw, if anyone has leftovers, I could use four tiles! Wish they didn't discontinue!

I love this floor, I can’t believe it’s discontinued! I installed the floor as part of my mother’s bathroom renovation, and it came out beautiful! Everyone thought it was real tile, especially because of the grout lines. It was very easy to install, cut, and grout! It’s a shame it is discontinued, please bring it back!

I bought 4 boxes of this tile for a laundry room. The tiles look nicer than the typical vinyl and appear like more expensive ceramic, especially when grouted. I cut them down to 6x24 planks fairly easily by scoring and snapping them in half. The finished edges are beveled slightly, so if you're going to cut them know that the cut edge won't look the same (this wasn't an issue for me since I was going to cover the edges with grout anyways). I'm very pleased with the finished product and would buy again.

We didn't end up using this. Ordered for a sample only. Its a nice enough color, but very thin. You would want to grout this and it would be tough to keep the grout in place due to thickness.

      23x24 coastal grey tile
Absolutely beautiful. No one believes it's vinyl tile. Put it in my kitchen and then ordered more for two bathrooms. Love the fact that it's groutable. Highly recommend for ease of installation and visual impact.

        Beautiful
Love these tiles. Took about 5 hours to install in one bathroom. But we had a lot of nitpicky spaces to fit around. Look amazing. Did not use grout. One note is they are very slippery with socks on. We have been flying into the bathroom in the morning.

We ordered this twice, the first time it was perfect and we were so happy with it. A few months later we ordered it again and it was not the same color grey that is pictured, it is completely different and not at all close it! Do not buy this!

I just laid 120 sq feet of this tile, and I learned a few things along the way. I'm here to share them with you. First, get a backer board knife to cut it. Sure, you can use a utility knife, but it eats up blades and you'll have to change/flip them frequently. So save your self some headache and get the backer board knife. It cuts very easily with the knife and a straight edge. I figured this out when I was laying the second box of four. One of my boxes had me cussing that paper backing. The other three were easy to remove mostly intact. I grouted it with unsanded Polyblend in Natural Grey that I mixed with water. It blends in perfectly with the tile once dried. To make your grouting easy, get and use a grout bag. It's like a big frosting bag. The super magical thing that I discovered about halfway through grouting was that I could squeeze out the line of grout, and then instead of using the grout float and then wiping, wiping, wiping, that I could use a squeegee! I ran the clean, wet squeegee down the grout lines, and it worked like a dream. I still wiped down all of the tiles and a few areas were messier than others, but wow, the squeegee cut the wiping by like 80%. I used a cheap little squeegee that I found in the cleaning aisle at either Target or Home Depot, and that I normally use to clean my shower, so you you don't need a fancy squeegee, just a clean, wet squeegee.

Must read, its long but worth reading if you’re considering this tile! I purchased this Coastal Grey vinyl tile online without seeing it in person, based on reviews and pictures. It is a little lighter than thought, not super dark gray, but still liked it. They are thick tiles and I love the feel of them. Now, as far as installing them. We did it ourselves in our small kitchen. We had to lay new ¼ inch subflooring over the existing floor that had glue residue from the old linoleum we removed. So with that nailed down we made sure to remove debris and laid the tiles leaving 1/8 spacing for grout. The tiles are easy to cut with a utility knife. The glue was excessive and got EVERYWHERE. You could pick up your tools just by touching them after 3 tiles and that was just by touching the corners to lay them down. We had to stop a couple times and clean our hands. The boxes of tile went right from my car to the house so they were not left outside in warm temperatures. But yes, the glue was on the sides of the tiles/paper right out of the box. After they were all down I used Goof Off and cleaned the glue off the tiles. Then I went right on to grouting. I opted for the silver pre-mixed grout. I had never grouted before, and probably should have tried this in a closet or something instead of my kitchen. Live and learn. Once I got the hang of it, it was ok. I only did a little at a time because it dries really fast and you have to get that off the tiles. I tried using a sponge but I couldn’t master that as it kept leaving streaks even after rinsing so I ended up actually using paper towels, lots of them. The grout left some haze in some spots that I cleaned up the next day with some cleaner. I was very please, grout looked great. Fast forward a month…it cracked and it was dirty, like black lines. When I thought it was just dirt and tried to clean it, it was glue. The glue came up between the tile and grout, cracking the grout, yea, and its mostly in the center and by the sink (the most heavily traveled areas). I removed the glue and am keeping an eye on it to see if more glue comes up and will probably end up re-grouting. In hindsight I should have done the darker grout, not liking the dirty look either. THEN: we have a really small 3x5 half bath in the entry way to remodel so we did the same tile (I ordered 6 boxes to do the kitchen and both bathrooms). We left the 1/8 grout spacing. This time I used Q-tips to really clean excess glue around all the edges of the tile and let is sit for 24 hours before I grouted it. I used the dorlean gray pre-mixed grout this time because I’m not fighting that light grout again. Turned out great and no glue has come up even after setting the toilet and sink and I’m hoping it doesn’t at all since this room isn’t used very much. I will not be using this in the big bathroom however because of this issue, I’m going with sheet vinyl. I really love the look and feel of it this tile but the glue is a problem.

The fnished product looks beautiful. The colors of the tile are all true shades of gray, (there are no brown undertones). The tile was very hard to score and cut even when heating it with a blow dryer.

A year later, these tiles are VERY scratched up. Even with pads under all the furniture, they get scratched chair movement and everyday foot traffic. The tiles looked excellent when we first installed them in the kitchen (and later, in the lower-traffic bathroom). But now they look seriously scuffed up and I'm looking at how to replace. Don't waste your time with this product; you'll regret it in a year.

This product looks great even close up. I put it down in my laundry room last year and most recently in my bathroom where I wanted the tiles to match the tiles in the shower. The tiles in the laundry room still look great. I grouted both with Simple Grout (pre-mixed grout) Delorean Gray. The colors in the tile are true greys.

Great Flooring! I liked it so much I used in all my bathrooms. With the grout, people cannot tell it is not ceramic. Best part it is not cold in your feet.

I installed this flooring in my small kitchen a little over a year ago, without grout. I was pleased that the tile was thicker than the kind of "peel-n-stick" tile that I had used previously in other projects. A year later, I still love the floor. It is easy to clean, everyone thinks its real tile. I was a little concerned with the tile moving over time, and the only place I can see that it has, is where it fits under the basement door, because there is no tile next it to keep it in place. But I was able to pull it up and glue it to the floor and it has been just fine ever since.

PROS: This tile looks fantastic, it is often mistaken for real tile. The color/finish hides dirtyness well. It is warmer and softer than real tile. CONS: Very top layer of vinyl is starting to peel on a few corners in high traffic areas. Tile and grout required by manufacturer in order to maintain warranty is separating and grout is falling out. Required grout is also total stained despite being stain-proof premixed grout. We have had this tile down for almost three years now. I have a few complaints that make me NOT recommend it to others (and regret installing it in my own kitchen). As stated above in the "cons" section the tile and grout are separating all over the place, the grout is stained, and tile layers are now peeling. Before you think "he didn't prep or install properly", let me say that I am a perfectionist. I ensured the floor was level wall to wall in all directions, I installed completely smooth plywood underlayment, I rolled out the recommended bond enhancer per manufacturer directions, and installed the tile and grout per manufacturer directions as well. Based on all the positive reviews I can only assume two things: 1- My house has an inordinate amount of expansion and contraction; or 2- The majority of reviews on this tile were written before or soon after install (I was in love with mine for the first 6-12 months as well).

                      Scratches easily!
I have had my floors for about 6 months. We installed about 1800 SF of this product. This product is NOT durable and scratches VERY easily! It looked great at first but it already looks terrible. Our entry from the garage is completely scratched. There are also several places that the grout has cracked. Do NOT make the same mistake. 6 months in & we wish we would have spent a little extra money & went with ceramic tile.

Installing these tiles was a little difficult, not sure how much easier it was than regular tiles (never done tile). The hard part was that the glue on the bottom of these tiles is extremely sticky and gets everywhere when placing the tiles. I used some adhesive remover and it came right off. I left about 1/16" spacing for grouting after they were placed. The grouting went well however, the tiles are so thin that I am worried about cracking in the future as you cannot get that much grout in each crack. I already have some cracking but luckily it is were my vanity is going. Before I grouted, I noticed that some of the corners of some of the tiles were lifting up. I used backboard and primer like it was recommended but still had some lifting. I simply put some construction glue under the tile and restock them down and they are holding. Seems like it was a lot of work to avoid placing real tile.

I used to LOVE this tile! It was a breeze to work with and install. It was going to go beautifully in all 70 of my units... but then something happened within the last month with your product... The glue on the tiles has gone rancid!! It it impossible to work with, and leaves a residue on everything. The tiles are stuck together before even coming out of the boxes. Whyyyyyyyy?!?!? Please address this issue so I do t have to find another product.

I was afraid I wouldn't like the color so I only ordered 1 box. I love it but when I went to order the rest it was sold out again. So when I went to the store they charges me $8.00 more a box. That really sucks it isn't my fault it was out of so I pay it or have a small bathroom that has 1/2 this bathroom done. So even though I am in love with the product I'm not sure I would order on line again. I am hoping the rest get here in a couple of days.

My husband installed this in our kitchen and half bath. Installation was a breeze (he used a hot blade to cut it out areas around cabinets, ect.) I hate to admit it would not recommend this floor if you have any animals and it's in a high traffic area. We have three dogs and flooring in the kitchen has white scratch it in already. Also, it is very hard to get to stay clean. The floor constantly feels dirty and any mark you see on it immediately. One mistake we made is relying on the adhesive on the tile. We made sure that the surface under where the floor was going was free of dust and debris and less then a month later the edges were starting to stick up and the grout broke. I would recommend using an additional adhesive so it doesn't happen to you. The flooring in our half bath looks great because it is not used that often. I don't really like to complain about products and it's beautiful but we will be ripping this out and replacing it with tile.

I've purchased and installed this flooring on 2 separate occasions. In 2015, I put this down in our dining room and I loved the ease of installation and the high end look once installed and grouted. The flooring was easy to install. I used siding shears to make cuts instead of a utility knife and it made it so much easier to work with. A friend an I were able to put down and grout a 15x20 room in a night. In October of 2016, I moved to a new house and put down this same floor in my basement laundry room. The only complaint I have is with the boxes I purchased in 2016, there was too much glue on each piece. The paper backing was sticking to each piece and ripping easily making it hard to get the paper backing off of each piece (and glue getting stuck to your hands). The boxes I purchased in 2015 had no issues with excess glue or paper backing ripping, so I'm thinking I might have just got a bad batch. Overall i still love this flooring and would recommend it to others. Easy installation, professional look and reasonable price.
