Every piece was perfect!! Husband and I in our late 70’s and did it with no problem!!! We love it and bought more for second bedroom. The color is beautiful and what a deal at .49 a square foot!!!

Gladstone Oak: we installed this on our ceiling in the basement. directly to the studs. We recently bought a home and the basement needed attention. After some trial and error, my husband found his groove it went smoothly (lucky for us the ceiling is level). The hardest part was clicking 3 sides in. The basement is still a work in progress but all in all the ceiling looks great. (will be using shiplap on walls... eventually). We also used this product on one of our bedroom floors and it came out just as nice - no pics sorry.

I have never installed laminate flooring before; or any type of flooring for that matter. Room was 144 sq ft. Boxes were $11.87 per case. Bought two rolls of underlayment. It took me one day to install. Take your time, measure twice, cut once. Very satisfied and it brightens the room. I would totally recommend this product for a DYI project that won’t cost you an arm and a leg.

Attractive floor at a great price. Bought for a unit I rent and it looks really nice.

This is classically cheap flooring, but attractive enough to use in a seriously tight budget. It chips easily, so you want to handle it carefully. The design has a 'lip' on the long and short sides, to lock the pieces together. That means angling the strip about 45 degrees and pressing (and wiggling helps) one strip into the groove of the adjoining one. Unfortunately, it also means if you have the long side in, you can't raise the short end 45 degrees to make IT fit. Tapping or forcing it in, even with a rubber block and laminate installation kit, frequently chips the finish on the end. To cure that - before adding each plank, use a putty knife to skin down a lot of the lip on both receiving and new plank. You can click the long side of the plank in, then using the rubber block you can tap the plank down to meet the previous one without having to use so much force that it creates damage. Often the new plank edge needs to be held down a bit (or the receiving plank raised up a smidge) to facilitate lining them up. Once together, it looks pretty good!

This is a great product for DIYers! The price is awesome! I put the floor down by myself and it only took about 1.5 days. It was easy to cut with a circular saw. The one thing you should be warned about is that the long tongue sometimes is frayed. Just remove the little pieces and keep going. I actually put some planks on the wall to give the illusion of a headboard and my sons love it. Neither project is complete but it’s not because the planks are difficult to use. I brought some more today. You can’t beat this product for the price!

Best priced item! Warm, homey glow. Levels up the rest of our furniture with its rich coloring! Cannot say enough about how quick and easy it is to install with 2 people. My husband and I covered 500 square feet in 6 hours. I love it and would recommend to everyone interested in simple, classic flooring.

I’m a very experienced installer of laminate wood floors. This is the worst product I have used of the ones I have installed. I don’t speak for all of them but just the box that I used. I had to use a box cutter and scrape out the unfinished cuts on the tongues and grooves to get them to fit together. I only bought one box since i was covering a tiny area. I would have returned it had I been covering an entire room

As a first-timer it went okay I had some problems with clicking the floor but not bad I think it turned out pretty nice though overall

The floor looks good. I love it! I installed this myself. If a woman can do this by herself imagine what a professional can do with this.

Was a better product than I thought it would be for the price. I used it in a low traffic location.it does chip easily so be care while installing. Once installed it holds up better than expected. Overall a decent product for the price.

I have used this product on a home project for my mother in law, i did the upper floor for which she was very pleased. I later did the basement after some water damaged on the carpet. The fire place was an old style, so i did an accent style above the fire place with the same laminant. Awesome product.

I don't know what all the 1 and 2 stars are complaining about. I had never installed laminate flooring before and I did a 220 sq ft room, by myself, in three 1/2 hours. I had a mini circular saw and got a kit with wall spaces, a little rubber hammer and a tapping tool for $20. I had to cut around several odd corners or it would have been faster. I had to be careful that the rows stuck together while installing and had to go back and re-attach multiple times. Two of the boards broke on the short edge while installing but you can use those to start a new row. This stuff seems to be very resilient to scratching. I would imagine you dont want to get more than a few drops of water on it. It is a good way to transform a living space for cheap and the finished product came out pretty good.

Best for the money, easy to install and looks great on floor that once was carpeted.

My review is for the Traffic Master brand of laminate flooring. I've actually installed other "colors" of the 7mm Traffic Master brand from HD. The quality and price of this brand is excellent. I mostly wanted to share my installation tricks when installing this flooring. Installation of this flooring requires firm tapping but you have to be careful of how and where you tap it. If you don't have 2 1/4" hardwood tongue and groove floor scraps already, I recommend buying some samples. Using a small piece of 2 1/4" hardwood tongue and groove wood flooring over the tongue of this laminate and smacking it with a rubber mallet will snap the laminate in place every time! Using the 2 1/4" hardwood tongue and groove floor scrap piece protects the delicate tongue and groove edges of this laminate and saves a lot of time and frustration. The boards can be snapped together by hand but many times I found a hairline crack between boards. Finishing the connection with a tap or two using the 2 1/4" hardwood tongue and groove floor scrap piece makes for a solid connection and quick installation. You'll still need the tapping bar to close in the last piece at the end of the run. I hope this makes at least one person's installation easier!

Not bad for the price. Got it for a rental unit. Installation was not to bad but the edges do chip easily. You need to cut really slow.

Probably one of the cheapest laminate floors out there. The laminate face chipped off very easily during installation and did not snap together very easily during installation. However for my application it was fine. Only been installed about a month so we shall see how it holds up to traffic.

Its a little tricky to begin the installation but once you figure it out its a breeze. Very easy to install we did 500 square feet and it looks beautiful. We even put this in a guest/kids bathroom used silicone to seal around tubs and toilet and even trim. My kids splashed water every day during bathtime and it hasnt damaged it at all. Still looks new.

I have installed this flooring in my living room hallway, and spare bedroom. Just purchased 7 more boxes to install in my other bedroom. I love it, very durable and beautiful!

For the price you can’t go wrong easy installation looks good priced right. + + +
