Getting started was a bit rough and highly recommend a kit to get things going in the right foot. I love this natural tone and look forward to working in my new studio with these amazing floors.

Flooring
We got this to replace the flooring in our kids play house. My grandpa built this play house about 40 years ago so the flooring was needing to be replaced. This laminate looks great in the playhouse especially since the flooring was rather shot. It was rather easy to install and it is cool that it has the pad attached. I would definitely recommend this flooring to others that are updating their flooring.
TM Hickory vinyl plank flooring has a very light color to it.
The plank flooring is engineered wood with vinyl layer. This flooring is water-resistant, so you may not want to put it in a heavily wet environment like a bathroom.
I installed my flooring in a kitchen/dining room combo.
First, I had to make sure my existing ceramic tile floor was sound. Yes.
Normally, you place a vapor barrier down but, in this case, my tile floor was already waterproofed.
The plank flooring does not have underlayment backing, so you need to add a thin foam underlayment pad for moisture protection and sound. Read the instructions carefully and you will be fine.
I also purchased a floor install kit which made the job easier. Stagger the planks, and do a layout before install. The planks are click-to-lock, so easy to install.
This flooring is beautiful and was a breeze to install. The light golden color is gorgeous and really brightens up the room and makes it look larger, too. I mixed it with another lighter shade laminate flooring and it looks great! It’s durable, easy to clean and installed really quickly. You simply snap the tongue into the groove and then tap gently down the slat to seat together well. You want to make sure you clean all dirt and debris from subfloor before installing to prevent any damage or noise. This flooring has a good quality foam padded backing to protect the floor from noise from debris particles and for comfort. Absolutely recommend.
We really like this flooring! First of all it's blond in color which gives it a nice clean wood look. Installation is a snap - literally each piece snaps together! When you install make sure the surface is smooth and flat. Then install laminate flooring underlayment padding. After that determine what direction you want the flooring to flow. I recommend buying a laminate installation kit. Nice thing about this laminate flooring is that it's very durable.
This Beige colored, low gloss laminate flooring is a great shade/color, especially if you want to lighten your floors/room up this is a great choice. It is water-resistant, the planks are 8-mm thick; 8.03-inch W x 47.64-inch L; 8 planks per carton; 21.26 sq. ft. per carton; 31.27 lbs. per carton. Underlayment is required, at least 2mm thick and can be purchased separately. Flooring can be installed over both concrete and wooden sub floors and select radiant heating may also be used making it a versatile choice, also. Installation is pretty straightforward with the easy click lock planks. Easy to care for by sweeping and damp mop as needed. Tile should be acclimated 2 days prior to installation by putting the flooring in the boxes lying flat in the room they are to be used in. I would recommend this flooring.
Looking for a new floor but want one that's easy to put down but solid, something that will last? This is one of those interlocking plank floors. What some call click lock. Goes together easy, does take a little patience and learning. Heavy too, a box is about 30 pounds. Still, delivered or picked up. Flooring to go. Doing a room takes time, but it can last a long time too.
Beautiful Flooring. Easier to install than earlier products. Very realistic wood graining
This Traffic Master Milo Valley Hickory looks like natural Hickory wood, and is one of the easiest laminates I have installed to date. The planks are wide and very rigid, having a plastic-like feel to them. The color is very light, which brightens the room and gives it a clean, modern look and feel. There is no foam underlayment pre-installed on the underside of each plank, so you will need to purchase and install it separately, before putting down this flooring. There are 8 planks per case, and a case covers just over 21 sq. ft. The planks are 8mm thick. The product description says the wear layer is AC3, which is suitable for heavy residential traffic. The edges are slightly beveled as opposed to square. The planks fit very tightly together with very little effort. For a while, deeply beveled flooring was the thing, but it just provides a place for dirt and dust to collect, so my preference is for the planks to have little or no bevel, as this flooring does. The color of this particular flooring is on the lighter side of the spectrum, with some variation between the planks, giving it a very realistic look. The planks feature knots in the surface pattern and have some texture that you can feel when you walk or run your hand over it, but the texture provides less grip and a bit more slip than other floors I have installed. The finish on this floor is matte, not shiny. While the planks are mildly textured to provide a bit of grip, they are still easy to wipe clean with a broom, Swiffer or damp mop. The graining is nicely done and very realistic looking, giving this flooring quite a bit of character. I found very few duplicates in my boxes of flooring, which adds another layer of realism to this flooring. When installed, this laminate flooring looks just like natural hardwood Hickory plank flooring. It even sounds like walking on hardwood. This flooring also addresses a lot of the short-comings of earlier laminate flooring, with thin, narrow and brittle click-lock system, that would fail and separate over time, but this flooring is well-made with wider and durable click-locks along the length of the planks for a longer lasting floor that will resist separation among the planks better than earlier models. This flooring is water resistant so it can be installed in most rooms of the home, even a damp basement. Installation is typical of other flooring and goes down very easy, with minimal effort, but a rubber mallet, spacers/shims, a pull bar, and a tapping block are useful during installation, especially when pulling the planks together. If you don’t have a tapping block, you can use a scrap piece of flooring, but I recommend the tapping block. They are only a couple of dollars and you can get them at The Home Depot, along with an installation kit and everything else needed to install this flooring. The installed planks looks great and I am very satisfied with this flooring.
I received the TrafficMaster Milo Valley Hickory 8 mm T x 8.03 in W Water Resistant Laminate Wood Flooring (21.3 sqft/case), in Medium thickness. It is very much a click to install flooring which makes insulation very quick and easy. They are easily cut down for your particular measurements. The only thing that I can say about the actual color..this particular color does throw off a little bit of a creamy light, yellowish hue in certain lighting.
The Kettle Kept Oak looks nothing like the pictures and it is difficult to install. Would not recommend.

The laminate was nice but I didn't care for the grout like lines between each plank. I wanted a more flush flowing look.

Nice flooring planks
The traffic master kettle keep oak is a great laminate flooring option and features easy lock in to each plank and water resistant finish.
These planks have a medium oak-looking finish that will make any space feel roomy, cozy, retro, or modern. Whatever look you’re going for- these will suit you well in any part of the house, including kitchen or bathroom.
There are many solid reasons to buy this product. The Traffic Master Laminate wood Flooring is water resistant, it has a genuine look of wood, it is easy to install, it is scratch resistant, is a DIY-er dream, and is easily cleaned by light damp mopping. That alone made me want this product. All installation instructions are included in each box. Don’t forget two important things: underlaying is required; don’t forget the coordinating trim and moldings.
This flooring looks so great when it is installed we got some to do one room and now we are going to do the rest of our home with this flooring . I do suggest that you purchase a higher quality underlayment and A installation tool kit . The snap in locks are a little tight other than that the installation is very simple most any one can install this flooring or you can have it installed
I had my floor prepped and ready ahead of time so i could get started right away. It does need a 48 hour acclimation time and an underlayment is a must! I've never layed laminate before, only vinyl plank. I like that it's not so delicate like the vinyl and I didn't have to be so careful with it. You have to cut it with a saw, there's no scoring and snaping, but it was fairly easy. I marked and cut on the back side to minimize chipping. I've only completed my hallway so far and its been mostly pretty easy to fit together. You definitely need a pull bar and a tapping block. I did have a few pieces that gave me trouble and there was a piece that was damaged on the corner. I didn't notice it right away and since its in the hallway, Im going to just leave it. It's a beautiful floor though and I love the color and the grain. It just looks wonderful!
Great flooring. Has a plastic feel to it unlike the other more flexible rubber feel. Definitely sturdy and resistant to the elements. This product needs an underlay before installation. This is pet scratch resistant and it is water resistant so you don’t want to leave water sitting on it. Easy snap and click together. I would buy the tool kit for an easier installment.
Traffic Master has been around a long time making good quality flooring from carpet to linoleum and they have held up for years. Now their making laminate. This is Kettle oak and it is a nice medium shade laminate that is click lock and water resistant. You have to let it acclimatize for 48 hours then you can get to work. Don't forget underlayment, you need it. then its a matter of laying and locking the flooring in place. When your done you will have a beautiful floor to be proud of. The directions are easy to follow and are well written, enjoy your new floor.
Easy Install. The TrafficMaster is a heavy weight product that make it easy to install and remain in position. The edges formed a tight and solid fit.
TrafficMaster Kettle Keep Oak 8 mm T x 8.03 in. W Water Resistive flooring is an excellent product not only in the looks but the ease of installation. The edges are cut straight and the mating alignment makes a clean line. The planks came together without effort and no broken lip edges. The floor has a good finish and the heavy weight makes a good stable product.
I just got the TrafficMaster Kettle Keep Oak 8mm high x 8.03 in wide laminate flooring and it’s a great quality product. It’s well designed and constructed with quality materials, the Oak color finish is perfectly replicated, it’s elegant style, waterproof if installed correctly, needs an underlayment because doesn’t come with it for a quiet and more comfortable floor. My wife and I decided to install it on the kitchen area to have a more comfortable, renovated and elegant feeling on it. Looks great and beautiful, the challenges I encounter was to have a straight line on the cabinets and walls around and have to reinstall the flooring twice, repositioning the plastic wedges to support the first floor row, after that everything when fast, taking time to measure for cuts. I have to mention that I found some kind of glue or silicone residue on various edges planks that I have to take off from them so I can have them secure to each other, the other thing I noticed is that the tongue on this product is slightly smaller than previous product from same manufacture I have installed in one of my bedrooms. It’s backed up with 30 years of warranty from manufacture defects if installed properly. Overall we’re happy with the new kitchen look and beautiful laminate floor, it’s easy to clean and maintain.
Need a good looking floor, this is the one and it is easy to install

TrafficMaster Kettle Keep Oak 8 mm T x 8.03 in. W Water Resistant Laminate Wood Flooring (21.26 sq. ft/Case)
I have a TrafficMaster vinyl floor from Home Depot. A plumber damaged the floor and I am going to overlay it with this laminate flooring. It gives me similar protection against moisture and spills but looks more like wood and is warmer in the winter.
It is easy to install and you only need a few special tools to tap the planks together. I started with a 1/3 offset so that the seams would look nice. (see photo)
The plank is easy to cut with most saws. I cut it from the bottom because it is less likely to splinter the top layer of the flooring.
It requires underlayment that helps with sound, moisture, and cushioning.
The fact you don't have to glue or fasten the flooring is a plus. I used a quarter-round trim to cover the edges of the floor.
