Post is solid and does the job

If it had a 4x4 insert, it would have been much better. We inserted 4x4's inside so that we could attach fencing to it securely with wood screws.

I have replace all of my fences with this produce and love it. My neighbors want to use this product. Only problem is trex and ups. The last section of my fence needed completion. Trex shipped the wrong color. This resulted in extra expense for me. HD was very aopolgetic and placed another order. Trex took a week to ship them UPS just decided to unilaterally delay the delivery day after day. Home Depot 10. Trex 5. UPS 0

Heavy. Not the same as the vinyl coated composite Trex. Close match though. Easy to assemble with two people

Thes 4x4 post covers r made real nice. Thick n covers post good. A real good price compared to other stores. Would buy some more when needed. Thanks HD

Pricey product but appears to be worth it. Strong and stable. Wish there were more options for caps. Excellent hold for screws.

We love our new privacy fence. Home Depot made it so easy to order on line and pick it up at the nearest store. They will even text another party to let them know when it is in since we had someone else doing the work for us.

This product is surprisingly heavy considering it is hollow. We were thinking it would be used as a sleeve over a 4x4 to help protect the wood, but we may not use the wood at this point. It is very expensive, but if there is no further up keep and it is durable it will be worth the initial expense. This product was sold separately from the end cap when I purchased it, but now it appears they are sold together. Not sure if it is the same quality...

Strong, good looking fence. Quality of materials is great. Order was handled perfectly, only missing fasteners for handles.

These posts are designed to work independently however I used them to slide over existing 4x4 p.t posts. I was willing to pay the cost to never have to paint the posts again. These posts slide nicely over the 4x4s with a quarter inch to breath. The posts look amazing and will hopefully stay that way. I did not use the traditional Trex fencing system but designed my own fence using Trex boards with 2 x 6 stringers between the posts. I'm old school and when it comes to fencing I still want solid wood for my screws to bite into. That being said the maintence free surface of this product made it worth the extra cost over just lumber.
