Great mower for the price!

The only reason I am giving it a 4 star rating is because I had to wait 3 week for it. How can lawn mowers be out of stock? His is the 2nd Troy-Bilt mower that I've had...the last one lasted 12 years. After oil and gas were put in, two pulls of the thing and it was running like a champ...I expected nothing less!

No problem getting the mower ready, the instructions were excellent

Briggs & Stratton is junk, particularily the plastic carb. Undependable - constantly need to remove, dissassble, and clean carb. Unacceptable engineering and non-existant company support. Buy it today, wear your arm out trying to start, then another item for the landfill! Just garbage!

Easy assembly, fired right up after putting it together, adding the oil (included) and filling up the tank. Very light and agile, a wonderful change from the beast I used to hump around the yard.

Nice mower for the price

Very powerful mower. The larger rear wheels make the mower easy to turn. The mower has a nice solid frame and of course the Briggs and Stratton engine is the best.

The mower is fine. The Home Depot sales system was awful. We purchased this model by mistake, thinkit it was self-propelled. When we tried to bring it in to our local HD store to return and get a self-propelled version the clerical staff was uncooperative and refused to carry out the transaction, giving the likely bogus excuse that because the purchase was made via Paypal they could not issue a refund.

This lawn mower handles so well and is so light, I am remembering how fun it is to mow my yard again. I've owned self-propelled mowers for the past several years and they are SOOO HEAVY and difficult to move around the yard. NOT THIS ONE! I've even compared other brands in the non self propelled mowers and they are heavy. NOT THIS ONE! I'm now a Troy-Bilt mower fan and will continue to be a loyal customer for years to come. And it's made in the USA unlike most other brands. LOVING IT!

Delivery from the store turned into a week and a half wait.

This lawnmower is poorly designed. The grass catcher bag has a gap between it and the mower so cut grass / dust blows into the face and upper body of the person using it and creates a 'cloud' you can barely see through. It plugs up easily if the grass has any moisture in it and requires frequent emptying of the bag (like every 5 minutes). The pull cord is difficult and feels like it will break when pulled. The handle does not collapse for easy storage. I returned it after cutting the grass once. It is AWFUL!!!

My new Troy-Bilt works beautifully. It is a very sturdy, efficient, easy to use lawn mower.

Purchased one mower, would not start at all. . Returned to Home Depot, they replaced it. This was in September, 2021. New one worked for one season, started fine in the spring and cut grass about 4 times, then it quit and would not start. Took it to service center, they were very vocal that if water was found in the gas that it would not be covered. They claimed the found water. Mower ran but then would just cut off for no apparent reason and would not start.

Right out of the box I had an issue. The wing nut & bolt set that holds the foldable handle together were very challenging to install! The nice paint job on the handle, seems to fill-in the bolt holes to the point that they would not push through. I had to use a wrench to thread through the paint to get the bolts started. NOT an easy to push mower at all! I just mowed with rider yesterday, I cut at 3" & push mow to trim. The quality: "Plastic" material that makes-up the rear of the deck (concern there) on the TB100 rakes through the grass & does not roll across it smoothly. Pros: good cut, good mulching & starting, free ship with Home Depot; Cons: difficult to assemble handle & hard to push through an already mowed lawn in "flat land" Florida!

I should have listened to the 1 star reviews that only got three mows out of it before it died. Luckily for me I'm within 30 days and will return it tomorrow. I got about 2 hours tops of run time out of it. The engine sounds starved for gas and bogs down and dies. The grass is about 4" tall and I mow weekly at 3" height. I also broke the first plastic Chinesium part today, and many more would have followed I'm sure.
