I bought this product to use in our garden! I am making a raised bed and two layers would give me @ 16" deep soil level. I cut two boards in half so I would have a 3'x6' bed. I took some 4x4's and cut into 24" lengths and routed @ a 16" channel for the boards. I like the overlap of the barn wood boards as it helps to keep the soil from coming out between the boards. The wood is of good quality and has a nice grain sort of finish which I put on the outside. I bought two packs to make two raised beds and might buy two more and make a "L" shaped bed also for a corner of the garden. I really like this product and would recommend it for anyone who would like a higher bed for planting you can make it any height you would like.

We covered a brick wall with the grey ship lap boards and loved how it turned out! Very easy to install and went up quickly. It took us about 7 hours start to finish to cover a wall 9’x 10’ (that includes the time it took to do prep work, putting up fir strips, and cleanup).

This product was just fabulous! Once you get the first few rows it is so easy, probably one of the easiest installations of a product EVER! We did use a bit of adhesive and then a nail gun for extra security to the walls. Would highly recommend!! With the extra we are going to make a coffee table! We used straight 12 foot and cut down

Purchased this product to use to trim out a 'nickel gap' weathered barnwood shiplap sold by HD. This product matches the shiplap perfectly and has defects/flaws that add to the finished room's charm. Highly recommended and comes in multiple colors.

We really liked the look, the quality, the easy install of this product. We put a clear stain on the boards. This brought out the natural beauty of the wood, the age rings, and the knots. Due to a mistake of the first order from the vendor, Home Depot really went to extremes to get us the correct 1.

These just look average or worse overall by appearance, but the condition I received them in was also fairly poor (most were warped or frayed or not primed well).

Delivery to my local store was less than a week. Did some custom twin head boards for a client and also ship lap on entire wall. I ordered 5 boxes to do an 8'x10' wall and had two or three full sticks left over. I did a random pattern and it worked out well. I only glued the back of the pieces that went past my studs without having anything to nail to. It worked out great. I would highly recommend this product. Had to do a little wood piece clean up on inside lip to be sure it laid flat and kept my straight line. Other than that I have no complaints. My client was beyond happy and we are doing another room in her house with same product.

Wow, I read the reviews that these all had imperfections and damages and figured it couldn't be that bad.. I plan to shiplap an fireplace alcove and mount a TV over it, so it will cover most of it anyway.. but people were not kidding! Every single board has imperfections! One board even has a hole all the way through it! I am still going to attempt my project since a TV will cover most of it, but I am super disappointed by them! The boards are also rough, I hope I can sand them up a bit, but am concerned at losing the coloring and then having to try to match it.

I had a friend install the shiplap on my guestroom ceiling and it turned out great and looks amazing! I can't wait to put on my other guestroom ceiling.

This wood has a very nice rough cut texture, perfect for my project. The boards were fairly straight and easy to work. It cuts easily and I didn't have any problems with splitting (used screws). I built two 24 inch wide doors using this as the base with added trim. The boards were light enough to keep the weight down and manageable. Only two hinges were needed for each.

I ordered shiplap online and it was exactly what I wanted. I also purchased a ceiling fan. Both were installed by a professional and it turned out great. Just the right amount of rustic farmhouse in my bedroom.

I have been purchasing this product for my basement remodel for the past 3 years and have found it to be of exceptional quality. However, the most recent batch of 30 boards that I purchased have been noticeably changed. The boards are now thinner and not the 3/4 inch thickness that they were previously, and as a result nearly every board had significant cupping. This cupping created the need for significantly more fasteners to straighten the board than previously required and made the installation more difficult. While I was disappointed in the reduction in quality of the product (minus 1 star), it still has a very good look for a manufactured barn wood.

Looks great on the wall. Calulating how much to purchase was a challenge. A nail gun and a chop saw are a must for the install.

As you would expect barn wood to be, the boards were very rough. We gave them a light sanding to tone the roughness down a little, yet keep the same barn wood look. UFP is supposed to imply that the edges are all uniform, but each slat does not fit together the same. The gaps were not all consistent, so we used grout spaces to give the boards a more uniform look. We bought the white boards with the intention of repainting them to match the white kitchen cabinets. Everyone loves the look. We had the boards in the house for several days to get use to the humidity, but brought them outside to cut and paint them. They were outside several days and the humidity slightly warped some of the boards. It was not noticeable once mounted on the walls.

Looks nice, but cheap, it's been up for one year and it is splitting and bowing all over and falling apart:( For the price it should have been better quality. I will have to replace the entire building within the year!

These boards are great. They transformed the bedroom beautifully and were easy to install. I bought 6' and 4' lengths for this project. When I opened the boxes the quality was excellent on the longer 6' boards. They were even, straight boards with a consistent finish and even treated with stain on the smooth back sides. Quality was not as great on the smaller 4' boards. The color and appearance on the 4' boards seemed streaky, rushed and was not a great match to the long boards. Back sides were very rough and unfinished. I thought I might have to stain the whole wall to make them sit together better an not look so dissimilar. But in the end they look great and just makes it seem like true remnant wood from another use. I love it! Very easy to put on the wall with a spacer I made from a long thin strip of wood and an air nailer.

I would order extra when planning your project. Like the look but some boards were damaged. I ordered extra and just returned what I didn’t use.

This was a great option to use behind a bed wall. Transformed the entire room.

We stained the boards ourselves, which turned out great, then made a headboard out of it. The finished product looks great. It did warp a lot but it turned very humid for a day and we didn't leave it inside long enough. One complaint - there is a machining mark about 2 inches from the end of many of the boards. We moved on and it looks nice. Over all, very happy, specially considering how affordable it was.

Wasn't a straight board in the rack and most of the tongues were crack made it work cuz I was in a pinch

Really love that the product is made out of real wood. Also really liked the finish. The one negative was that the boards came mostly warped and some cracked. Made the project little bit trickier to make the boards look straight on the wall.

This shiplap is pretty interesting. I like the color and found the installation not too difficult. The boards are fairly light. Before I cut the boards to fit the space, I noticed that they had warped quite a bit. I installed the boards with the inside lip up to make it easy to align them. Also laid out the stud line and the starting level line at the bottom. The warp was easy to resolve after all as the boards were flexible enough. This is real wood!

We ordered this UFP-Edge 1" x 8" x 8 ft. Barn Wood White Shiplap Pine Board (6-Pack) (5 Pack Bundle) to create a feature wall in our otherwise pretty dull master bedroom. We had previously ordered some UFP-Edge 1 in. x 4 in. x 8 ft. Smoke White Charred Wood Pine Trim Boards which we used as trim around the two existing windows. Having never installed shiplap before, I watched a couple YouTube videos on how to install shiplap and made a scale drawing of the wall to make sure I would have enough shiplap before starting my own installation. It was important to know that an 8-Inch shiplap board is only 7-1/2 inches wide and only covers about 6-1/2 inches because of the overlap. I installed the shiplap directly over the existing drywall using Liquid Nails and 2-Inch Brads from my Ryobi One+ brad nailer. Installation went pretty fast but it was somewhat difficult to maintain a level line across the entire width of the wall on which I was installing the shiplap due to the cupping and warp of many boards. I used a laser level to find the level line and adjusted the board spacing as needed to try to keep everything level, but the cupped boards were still pretty noticeable, especially where they butt up against the window trim. End joints where two boards butted together often looked mismatched, the cause of which I didn't discover until I was almost finished with the wall: many of the shiplap boards are thinner (by as much as 3/16 inch) at one end than they are at the opposite end of the same board. Had I noticed this flaw sooner, I could have adjusted my board lengths better to match up equal thicknesses. As it is, I just used some antique white caulk to help hide the uneven end joints. Overall, my wife is happy with the results, so I guess we can recommend this product. For the price, I would have expected a little better lumber quality.

This product was easy to install and looks great on the wall. Would recommend this to anyone that asked how it worked out for me.

We are currently in the process of install. A few notes: We wanted a rough hewn almost barnwood look, so this is very acceptable. If you are going for a more refined finish, avoid this product. We are covering popcorn vaulted ceilings, and are using 18gauge finish nails to hang. Working well so far. The white wash varies in intensity by the box, so ensure you buy multiple boxes and mix up the wood so the variation isnt stark once you hang it.

Great Product! Just be careful! I did all of my cuts in the garage and then carried them up a flight of stairs to construct in a bedroom. I ordered 6 boxes. After cutting them and carrying them up the stairs I noticed that one of the boxes contained light gray shiplap and the rest of the boxes were perfectly white shiplap. if you are working in less than ideal lighting, once out of the box, the white color will be seen on both sides of the board. The awful gray ones were raw on the back side. Since I had cut them already, I had to learn how to white-wash to match the others on the wall. Not fun.
