We got the UFP Edge boards along with trim installed in our living & dining areas. They look good, but there are quite a few boards popping out. The installer said it's because the boards are uneven and not finished well and that more may pop up over time. Very disappointed that the project didn't turn out quite as expected. If there's a way to fix these boards and prevent more from popping out, would be interested to know.

This turned out great as an accent wall. The shiplap looks high quality and adds some character to my room

I ordered these online so I did not get to see the quality before purchasing. If you are looking for a VERY RUSTIC look then you may be ok with these. Many of the boards are so warped/crooked that I couldn't use them, so I had to purchase an extra box to finish the job. If I hadn't just started to hang them right out of the box, and I wasn't so time-restricted (working my real job full time), I would have returned them. I gave it 2 stars because the overall look is ok but I am disappointed that I didn't return and choose something else.

Recommend this product. It is a bit pricey but having the boards already painted and distressed made it worth while. Bought 6 packs and only had one board with a crack in the corner. I was able to work around that. We did a color match at Home Depot and bought a sampler of paint to touch up end grain cuts that appeared or any minor imperfections. Love the outcome.

I love it, so easy and looks Great. Had a ugly wall that was too dark and I have always liked the look of ship lap. took me about 3 hours to install... and I get many compliments. I want to do more.

Overall, this product looks great installed. We are pleased with our unfinished job. But after putting up 42 boards, I am 2 short though I bought 12% extra. I went off of the coverage area of 5.375 (6" board), thinking that considered the overlap. I should have known better. Use 4.75" times the length to do your math and you will be a lot closer to accurate. It is better to buy 20% more than needed and return what you do not need. I had one board that was 1/8" narrower than all others, but that was the only one out of 42. It will get ripped in my final row. There is some cupping and curving in some boards, but I was able to nail them flat. The worst ones were used for cutting shorter pieces. I had no waste, which is great.

The end result is beautiful. I took one star off because many of the boards are warped or bowed and required quite a bit of force to get them into position. Extra nails held them and there haven't been any issues. I would do it again to get these results.

Easy to install and looks great! Having it already painted makes it even easier. It's a little pricey for the coverage. We liked it so much that we did the bathroom in addition to the kitchen accent wall.

Boards were straight and 95+%!of them were without issue. I’ve used these boards in to different rooms in two different states and very happy with the consistency and ease of use. I did a 15x 10 foot wall and it took about 3-4 hours.

The texture on these boards is amazing. Very pleased with the final look. One board I received was warped past the point of using it but the rest were perfect. I needed 3 boxes to complete a 7 foot wide by 8 foot tall wall. It would be amazing if UFP-Edge would provide these as planks (not shiplap) and reduce the price. I would buy MUCH more if that was offered.

Received the order quick but not one panel is intact or free from defect. I understand that wood is never perfect but this is unacceptable given the high price. This is cheap quality wood which ridiculous finish. Most panels are cracked, large imperfections, cheap finished. See the pics and decide for yourself. This is just a portion of the panel. Entire panel has 2-5 such imperfections.

We used the shiplap pine board to clean up a utility area in what is called an upground cellar in our 125 year old farmhouse. The pine board was easily installed and we are quite pleased with results. Here is a before/after picture.

Pre-finished wood saved a lot of time. Wood was easy to work with, but I found that the lap on some boards was not cut straight near one end. This caused uneven placement, so it was necessary to chisel the lap straight on those boards. Otherwise very easy to install.

Easy to put up. Easy to cut pieces. Helps in soundproofing a room, as well. We’re very satisfied with this product. It looks great, too!

Great quality wood. Packaged and delivered well. Style turned out to be very rough texture so ran them through the thickness planer to smooth out. Took off most of the paint and left with a smooth rustic look that we loved.

Love the shiplap, so easy to install for someone who like to do home projects. Have friends installing it on their walls now.

I used these boards to shiplap both my bedroom wall and my dining room wall and they turned out BEAUTIFUL!

Easy to put up on walls. Made cabinets for Kitchen and Bathroom. All perfect for our Barn! Will be using in our Bedroom too! Just love it!

Easy to install and a good value for price paid

Easy to install and I didn't have any waste. I left the board climatize in their original box were the shiplap was strapped in a bundle for a week. It seems to keep the boards from warping like other had mentioned.

Used boards in our ceiling and looks amazing!
