Nice Rustic look. This shiplap has a great overall quality with the bonus of being really easy to install. The tongue and groove makes for a quick project with no nail holes. The 10 ft long boards are great for an accent wall. You can change the look of your room in just a couple of hours. Lots of bang for a little money. Wood is whitewashed in a bright white so no painting necessary. Highly recommend!

I used these six foot boards in addition to eight foot boards and trim boards for a focal wall in my bedroom. It came out beautiful. The boards were rough and not always straight but they were easy to work with. The off white color was perfect. It set off the other walls that were very pale blue. Using my new brad nailer, the job was done in two afternoons.

We enclosed a breezeway and wanted a porch like feel. The off-white is absolutely gorgeous. No finishing required and it was a snap to install. Love it and have received so many compliments!

Wow! I am so happy with the look of my bedroom after installing this shiplap. My walls are all painted a pale blue but needed an accent wall. Didn't want to just paint it another color. This barn wood shiplap made all the difference. It gave the room what it needed. Texture. The color is an off white semi transparent paint. The texture is very rough but in this light color it is not too rustic for this somewhat formal room. The installation was pretty easy. I bought a battery powered brad nailer and along with my circular saw, and tape measure went to work installing it over the course of two afternoons. I only had trouble figuring out how much material was needed. It was hard to figure out because of cuts, waste, and the uneven overlapping of the boards. Some of the boards were warped. Some needed cut away of split wood. So I made sure I had some of all three lengths and trim. Some packages will go back. I started from the bottom as the pictures suggested. I would have preferred to start at the ceiling because in this room that's what shows the most. As the wall was progressing upward, and not wanting to start more packages or use small scraps to fill in, it was a planning game. Even though the first row on the bottom was level, the uneven overlapping was starting not to look level anymore. Another reason to want to start at the top. But the thing about the look of a wall like this, it does not have to be perfect, because that's some of the charm of a barn wood shiplap wall . This really is a good DIY project . This was done entirely by me without help. As there are many scraps, I will build a planter box for my flowers and paint it with exterior paint.

Make sure to sort through and find the straightest ones possible. Boards had a large crown made install difficult. After fighting crooked boards and crown the project looks great. I'd recommend sealing the product I used a water base satin polyurethane, I hope this will help keep the rough sawn boards from getting as dirty and might make it possible to clean if needed, it could also lessen the possibility of slivers.

This project I did came out beautiful. More than expected. It was a bit costly.

I love the product but it cracks pretty easily so be careful. I do wish it came in different lengths as I wanted a seamless wall. But love it!

Looks great once installed, pricey but worth it. I bought the longest pieces and some were warped and made it impossible for a perfect fit. Most were great though.

This shiplap looks great on our wall as a decorative accent to the room. I highly recommend it. Easy to install.

If your looking for precision milled siding, this is not it. The laps (offset and thickness) and board lengths vary greatly from bundle to bundle, making it difficult to fit. Overall, I got the appearance I was looking for.

Beautiful product. I took some time picking out the pieces that I wanted. I was particularly looking for different color variations and boards with a little more character. The installation was a breeze and the wife, was more than pleased. I had bought trim pieces to match but I was able to get such a nice fit in the wall space that we were covering that we didn't even need to use it. Our wall, 10' tall x 75" wide cost us just over $200. I would have paid well over that for this look and I still have scraps that the wife is already scheming on how to use them the best.

Great product. Easy to install. I used Youtube videos to get the idea on how to install. I highly recommend this product. It's inexpensive and it looks great!!!

This look and feels like barnwood. Great for a rustic look. Easy to install.

We put it up in along our staircase and it looks amazing. Great way to add texture to the walls.

This product looks nothing like the picture. I almost thought they sent me the wrong order, it's so bad. The wood is the worst quality I've seen. It's not painted or sanded or anything. I wouldn't even try to sand it down myself to paint it! I ordered it April 24th and it arrived today, May 2. Thanks for holding up my project home depot! I wish you would have accurate descriptions on all your products. That picture of the fireplace with the white-wash looking wood above the mantel is not this product!!

I used this product along with the matching 1X4 trim to build an amazing sliding barn door. This is as close to real "barn wood" as it gets. The product looks and feels very authentic. Color and texture of each board vary slightly, but that adds to the realistic look. The touch-up stain specification provided matches exactly. It’s a great addition to our home and our guests are astonished that it only took an afternoon to build.

My wife and I had looked at this product several times before deciding to incorporate it into our kitchen renovation. We were able to hand pick trough inventory for the most cosistsnt pieces. Beautiful product! We used the 1x6 ship lap and the 1x4 trim. Used on our island and sliding barn door. Highly recomend!

Amazing product! Did my whole porch in this and it looks beautiful. Tip: run the electric sander over each board before installation. It'll take off the "fur" and give the whole thing a nicely distressed velvety look!

Decided to do an accent wall on the top of our vaulted ceiling and this product was a perfect way to go. Looks incredible and creates lots of conversation with visitors wondering how we did it. This shiplap is easy to use, easy to install, and has a great finished appearance. With a finish nailer and a miter saw, you are on your way to an outstanding DIY project. The matching trim boards compliment it all very well and were an exact color match. Overall a great product.

First batch was beautiful! However, I went back to get more and the second batch was an ugly beige color. Not even close to the original stuff I bought. So disappointing. Will be returning to the store!

Don't buy this 'shiplap' the quality is awful. It was stamped on the front (no not back) FRONT! So if you only plant to sain or leave bare this is not for you. It was warped, bend had bad end cuts, splinters, Oh so many splinters. We hoped that if we let it acclimate it would 'straighten' out but no such luck. Save your money you end up having to buy double the amount that you need to get some so so boards and then get the sanding paper, primer and paint ready other wise there is no way for this to look good.

Sanded, primed with 2 coats and painted white with 2 coats. Looks great!

These 1”x6”x8' pieces are the shiplap component to the weathered barn-look decorative application. The new lumber boards have been milled in the factory to resemble old weathered barn wood. These are decorative accent pieces and are meant to be used to create a rustic ambiance. The boards are exceptionally well detailed from the graining to the knots to the pre-finished staining. All that is missing are holes and ragged edges for complete authenticity. The shiplap can be used in either a horizontal or vertical position. We will be using these boards on our outside porch so we will follow recommendations to apply a sealer. I am impressed with the looks of this product!

Love love love shiplap! Cant wait to see it on the walls. Comes rough, invest in power sander if you don't have one. Shipping was interesting, just thrown on a pallet with cardboard over the top, we had 3 boards damaged. Price was way cheaper than lumber yards we checked. Can't wait to install it!

I purchased 14 of these boards. All but one were bowed just a little. It didn't affect the project wall in my living room that I am covering. The grey color is a great distressed look that I'm looking for. However I ran short on boards, back to HD.

There were vertical saw marks in a lot of the boards, so that made for not a great look for the stain. I thought maybe we got a bad QC batch, but upon ordering more they were all like that. Wish the saw marks were not there.
