Works as expected. Put this in a flood light socket and plugged market lights into it so I can activate my patio market lights with a switch. Had to use a 2-prong to 3-prong adapter since this is only a 2 prong adapter.

Exactly what I needed

The product quality was very poor. Initially I bought four items and the plug could not inseted to the plug in two out of four. I returned them to Homedepot and bought another four. Again one of them was not working.

tis socket adapter installed easily and worked fine initially. After about eight (8) months it failed, and the outlet would only make intermittent contact with the spades on the plug. I could hear the arcing going on inside it, so it had to be replaced.

This item is ridiculously small but works great. Perfect for powering some string lights without needing to run an extension cord.

Not much to say, it's a simple adapter and it works
