Soft brush for cleaning vehicles and around the outside of the house

The Unger 10 in. Waterflow Multi-Purpose Brush with Rubber Bumper Guard Soft Bristle goes with the Waterflow pole for best results. The bristles are long synthetic material and the Wateflow pole allows water to feed into it. This makes it easier to wash outside around the house, cars or trucks. Its top edge has a bumper guard to protect what you are washing from getting banged. I use it for outside work on walls and siding because of my trees that needs to be frequently cleaned to prevent mold. The brush has soft bristles not for rough scrubbing so you need a light touch, but it does get the dirt out. The brush does a good job and without heavy pressure since its being fed by the pole's water supply hooked up to a hose. Its much more effective than just using water pressure alone and uses less water, too. This is because you are not only using the water to clean, but also have some scrubbing action. Enough said, its good for its intended purpose and sure most will be using it for cleaning their vehicles.
I used this on the end of a painters pole to stain my deck (which worked way better than rolling/srpaying and back brushing!!!). I had quite a few of the bristle clumps fall out, but I may have been using it a little more vigorously than intended?? It also would not stay tightly screwed onto the end of the pole. All in all just ok as a brush.

I had some of the same Brand, only older. I found the newer ones to have bristles that are a bit more sparse than the older ones. They're okay. I would have preferred the ones with thicker bristles for the job.
We have tall windows in the house and many of them. I rinse the windows first, and then dip the brush into a pail of nice warm soapy water. Once I brush the windows, I turn the water on through the handle (separate purchase) and rinse the windows and follow through with a small window squeegee. I can't say I enjoy doing windows, but this brush has made the task much easier. When the task is easier, the windows get cleaned more often. I have used the same technique using this brush to clean the vehicles between heavy car washes. I simply spray the brush intensely to make sure there is no sand or debris in the bristles and the clean the vehicle as I do the windows - less the squeegee. It's a very nice touch to keep the vehicles clean without the expense and time of going to the car wash. We do use soft warm soapy water on the brush which really makes cleaning a breeze. The brush seems very durable and the bristles are firm yet soft. It has already paid for itself with just a few car washes.

When I saw the waterflow pole and brush I immediately knew this would help me with the corrugated roof over my patio! Living beneath pine trees we often get needles and dirt stuck up there. I don't want to say it was easy because we had to lean out the upstairs window to clean parts of the roof but I now have a clean roof-- at least until the next winter. The pole attached easily to our hose and the water came out with a good steady flow. The rubber bumper on the brush did not scratch or damage the surface and the brush fit in the grooves to push out the matted dirt and caked in pine needles. As you can see in the photos with a little effort I can still see a little dirt but now have sunshine coming through. I used only water to clean the roof and may try adding a cleanser next time to get a better rinse. I also used it for a quick scrub of some algae on the house. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.
I bought this to wash an old truck, since it has soft bristles (still would not use for my newer vehicle) and I already had the Unger extension pole. Within the first 2 minutes the bristles flattened out and the brush became useless. Soft ends on the bristles mean nothing when all bristles are laying flat against the brush. One of the most useless pieces of garbage I have bought in a while and did not expect that from a HD-sold product (and when they have had a display for Unger products for a while). Thankfully not much money was lost, but it would take more gas and time to return it. After one use, there is nothing to do but throw it away. It has no use for anything.
