Very pretty. Easy to attach handles and legs.

We decided we wanted a flush screen in lieu of the traditional hinged one. We decided to give this one a try! It looks like we had one made for our fireplace. Some of the screw holes did not align, but my husband was able to fix that.

Looks great! It took me forever to find a screen with doors to fit my wood burning fireplace. This screen looks great, is good quality and makes tending to the fire so much easier. I did not use the back feet as I wanted it to fit flush as possible with the river rock. It stands up on it's own fine.

Wasn't sure I was going to love it, but I do! Was worried it wouldn't be sturdy, but it is!

I previously bought another screen that was cheaper and decided to return it because the quality was poor (you get what you paid for). I decided to shell out a bit more and buy something nicer and so I went with this and overall I like it, it fits in front of my fireplace perfect and I like that it's sleek and doesn't stick out very much (I just wanted something to cover the fireplace, not something to be decorative or to draw attention). However, knocking off 2 stars because the corners all seem a bit rubbed down. It doesn't look very polished and a bit poorly made. One corner even has a crack in it. I attached a photo. In the photo you can see the crack and also how the corner looks really rubbed down - this is how it looks on the other corners. It's almost as if this screen has been banged up quite a bit and someone just re-welded the corners? Two of the screws were also popped out when I first took it out of the box. I just screwed them back in but all in all, for the price, I would expect something better. I'm deciding whether or not I want to go through the hassle of an exchange or just keep it...

I purchased this screen to replace another because I liked the fact it was directly up against the brick face. The problem that I have is that the wire mesh is poorly made. The mesh screen spacing was unequal and at least 6 or 7 locations the pattern had uneven spaces. Several locations the mesh stopped and was not even continuous. You would think that during any quality control this would easily have been seen. The paperwork listed as UniFlame is a Trademark of Mr Bar-B-Que Products of NY. However the product is manufactured for them in China. I have left voice messages and sent several emails and no response.

Just what I wanted, looks great and nice wide access to the fireplace.

This is a really handsome fire screen, and the arched top perfectly echoes our own fireplace. This is a solid (i.e., not hollow) frame, and took minutes to assemble. My only concern - and we'll see how this plays out - is that where the two doors meet, there is a 1/4-inch gap. Hoping sparks don't make their way through it. If I remember, I'll try to update this review after we've had several fires. But overall, I'm very pleased, and the price was significantly lower than an online retailer that specializes in this kind of thing. I really like the elegant simplicity of the design.

Fits perfectly for the fireplace we have. Just a little wobbly, but works for what we need.

Looks great, is sturdy; good buy for price

Assembly was easy. We bought two. One for our family room fireplace and one for the fireplace in our finished basement. Both fireplaces have different dimensions and one is arched and the other is not. But this screen covers both. An important feature to me was the back legs/feet are not fixed into position and can be placed anywhere along the bottom. In fact, on one fireplace, the hearth and fireplace and not quite level with each other so I actually did not install the back legs for that fireplace so the screen could sit properly on the hearth.

This arrived quickly and I just unpacked it. It’s a beautiful piece but true to other reviews, beware of sharp edges on the backside of the cast (careful when unpacking!) An elegant cast works well with my cottage frency decor. The finish is glossy, but I plan to correct that with gold flake paint anyhow. I searched long and hard for something that would be decorative without a screen, because the gas log set itself is so attractive I didnt want to cover it with mesh. It fits across the smallish fireplace opening. Giving 4 stars due to a slight disappointment that I have to go find longer screws to attach the feet to it securely, but Im keeping this, its lovely!!

Elegant and unobtrusive. Detracts minimally from crushed fireplace glass. Stands sturdily by itself. Since it is curved, edges fit against fireplace preventing nosy puppies from getting around it. Will order another for other fireplace.

I replaced broken glass fireplace doors with this screen. It looks great!!! Glass door replacement $1000.00. Black wrought iron screen $99.00. Works great!!

Love the design but the color is more painted glossy brown than it is bronze. That said, we love the way it looks!!

Piece came broken. so did the RMA. Nice design but cheap welds.

I ordered this screen to be delivered to my home to replace my old brass fireplace doors. Unfortunately, it came damaged. I have had issues with mishandled boxes previously with the company that delivers in my neighborhood. I liked the screen so I returned it to Home Depot and asked them to order another one and have it sent to the store. They did and it came in perfect condition. It is heavy and stable, even on my brick hearth. I love this screen. I am planning to stain the bricks to change the brick color slightly. I would recommend this screen if you are looking for something simple and stylish. It fits with any decor. Sadly, the price was $30.00 less when I first saw it and $30.00 less after I bought it. I bought it in between those price drops at a $114.00 price. However, it still was less than other places, and I am happy with my purchase.

It's a gamble! Item arrived defective. The doors on the one I got today didn't line up vertically or horizontally. The welded hinges were so off center on one side the door actually scraped the bottom bar and only covered 1/2 the magnet at the top. The gap between the doors was just under 1/2 an inch. See photo.

This is a really pretty, simple, fireplace screen. The welds are sloppy, the doors are crooked and don't meet in the middle, the paint job is messy, and the screen has imperfections. Although it was very well packaged, the left door is bent and the screen slightly dented, apparently it was packaged with those defects because the package was not damaged at all. Basic quality control to avoid these issues would not be costly, but...it seems from other reviews that they would rather take returns than watch their production a bit more carefully. That being said, it seems sturdy, it fits my fireplace, and I like the way it looks. I can touch up the paint and ignore the other imperfections because it was well priced compared to others I found online, and appears to be the exact same item. I didn't want to pay twice as much and get another sloppily made piece.

I'm extremely happy with the fireplace screen I had ordered from Home Depot. The overall quality and style is comparable to screens 3 times the price from other retailers. The ordering process was easy online and the ability to track my ordered was great I knew exactly when to expect delivery.

I recently had my old red brick fireplace resurfaced with stacked stone. This sent me on the search for the perfect single panel fireplace screen to replace the old brass doors. The simplicity of this screen fills the bill. It fits closely to the stone, yet does not take away from the overall look I wanted. It came in one sturdy piece. Just opened the box and placed it in front of the firebox opening. Perfect! I have received many compliments on the new look of the fireplace and how the screen completes the look. I highly recommend this product.

I bought this online on a Tuesday and it arrived on Friday! I am thrilled with the service and the fireplace screen. It is sturdy and solid. Don't be afraid to order it. It fits perfectly!

Ordering and shipping were great. Assembly not difficult. I ordered this as a modest priced fireplace screen and paid more than the lower priced ones thinking I would get better quality. As the pictures show, it is warped or maybe just poorly made, but the doors don't close and align correctly, and the braces for the back are different lengths, therefore it won't sit flush again the fireplace. I am very, very disappointed. I didn't want to take it back because it is too heavy for me to lift and take back easily, which is why I had it delivered to my home rather than pick it up at the store. After trying to get it re-boxed for a home pick up/return, I am giving up and will lug it back to the store. Customer service was very nice about accepting the return when I called, and explained how to do it for UPS pick-up, but it will be easier just to get help and take it back.

This is exactly what I was looking for....Very classic and plain...after all, the main attraction is the fire!

The fireplace screen was exactly as it was represented. Easy to attach the extra parts, and it fit and operated just perfect.

The screen looks great and works great as well. Looks very classy and was easy to install.
