I would not consider this a heavy duty security door but more on the lighter end at a value. I read prior to purchasing that some buyers have had trouble with missing hardware. Fortunately all of the needed hardware was included in the box with the door. My father had to replace the 2 screws that secure the handle to the door as they would not catch into the port that was designed for them. It took him 1hr to complete installing it properly. I happy with my purchase for now.

I was a great set up easy installation.

The door is beautful. It is easy to hang and it really dressed up the house. It is really a nice door especially with the deadbolt lock on it and glass all the way down and then a screen in it also. I was just disappointed in the craftsmanship because there spots where the rust came came through the coating because it wasn't properly cleaned. There are other spots that never got painted and other places where the paint is actually peeling off. If the rust had not been on it and totally painted, and paint not peeling, then I would have gave it a higher rating. Pay that kind of money for the door and then you have to go and touch it up, very disappointing

The door is a very nice addition to our home. The quality for the price was acceptable. It had a few missing spots of paint we had to touch up, but I could not touch this nice of door anywhere else for the price point.

The security door does not come with handles or door spring. Then I was told that you have to buy separate, and then you can't find to buy separate, home depot had to contact the seller just to get them for me. I don't recommend buying from this seller. But once finally I got it together (a month later) its beautiful. But not worth stress!

If you ever need parts, like a lock set or hinges, for and Unique Home Design Door, you will not be able to get them. Home Depot says they can't order them. It took forever to find a number for Unique Home Designs, and they said that since the doors are made in China, it would take at least a month to get the parts. That's a lot of money to pay for something that can't be repaired.

Trying to get a replacements is proving to be very difficult. I am searching for one to no avail. I love the door with this one exception it has been great.

I can't install the doors because someone stole the hardware kit out of the door package before they were shipped! Very disappointed!

Damaged product I had to fix the box was beat up pretty bad and before that I got window bars from you and one of the bars was bent

Very sturdy door and has been working well. While it is reversible, it is NOT EASILY reversible. If you have a left swing I highly recommend this because it comes that way. For a right swing Remove a couple dozen screws then put it in in a reverse pattern...that’s fine, but not when the holes are off by 1/8 inch! Finally after Drilling holes and mounting the door, there’s a ridiculously cheap plastic switch/handle that is supposed to hold the glass in place! What the heck is that cheap piece of plastic Lock doing on this heavy duty door? It couldn’t hold the glass window up and was falling out when the door arrived. Really makes NO SENSE. I Will need to Rig something to replace that as will anyone who buys this door!

Paused in the middle of the installation process just to say how assenine the design is for reversing the handing of this door. And I do this for a living. Practically any door is "reversible" if you take it completely apart and flip everything around. The avarage do-it-yourselfer is going to have some trouble with it. Especially when they see half of the predrilled holes aren't where they should be. Could be alot less complicated.

I absolutely love this door. It is heavy duty, has some design but not over the top. A deadbolt to lock it.

The overall look and quality of the door is great and added an amazing look to my screened porch. However, the paint began chipping away within the first week that it was hung leaving exposed rust spots on the door. I'm in the process of having painted with a Rustoleum type of paint.

We are missing internal lock assembly, not sure what else are missing on the hardware. Just had a chance to install it last night and came to find out the missing parts.

The screen was not sealed so when it rains water gets inside.

unfortunately the door came with no installation screws, lock or all the other items needed to install the door. I called the company on June 22 and they agree to send me this items. It is July 2 and I still waiting . This have been a bad inconvenience since I paid for the installers to install the door but they coudnt finish the job because of the items missing. It seems that there are other people that have bought this door and they have the same problem. I failed to read the reviews before I order, if I knew that I have never order this item. Home Depot need to read the review to items they sale because they are selling items that are not to the costumers standards.

I love the door but the drill holes were 1/16th off. Very annoying.

I had to change the handle on the door to ensure it opened the proper way. However, the process was simple and explained well by the video. It is easier to do with two people. I am very happy with the door, it fit well and the lock and handle went together easily. It is a nice product.

After waiting over 3 months for proper installment I was not provided warranty document on the door. IWould not use your venue again for a door installation. The door manufacturer would not install screen at the top Without Clinton and Noel at the store taking the time to make adjustments

we order thw door online， it come with the handle set， but did not come，and we call so many time， we did not get any answer

Ordered and installed this door in 2014. Four years later and with probably no more than 10 times raising/lowering each year; the internal mechanism that keeps the window in place broke. Took the glass out to inspect, the internal components that hold up the weight of the window is a thin, nylon string attached to a spring. It's time to replace, not sure if I would replace with the same product. Outside of this, I absolutely loved this door.

My door was installed Saturday, March 10, 2018. The door has a rust spot, paint that is chipping around the spot. There was also two of the same handles. One outside railing is painted white and almond going down. I received an assortment of white and almond screws. I'm so disappointed. I paid that much money for a defective door right out of the box. I also own the same door in another size that was purchased in store at another Home Depot. I have referred my complaint to the Zachary, LA Home Depot manager. Waiting for an answer.

It took me to order 3 of these doors to finally get one that wasn't bent/damaged. But once I did and install it, it was just what I wanted for my back door. It's heavy and secure and looks nice. The home depot store was very accommodating on helping me get the vendor to put extra packing.
