Do not buy
The holdup spring does not have hooks or loops to attach to chain. Now I have a windchain I can't use. Their answer was to take it off my door, return it, wait 7 to 10 days for the replacement to arrive.

My nephew installed the door closer so it was easy for him to do. I decided to have it installed...
My nephew installed the door closer so it was easy for him to do. I decided to have it installed at the top and it works just fine for the door I purchased. Item was inexpensive and arrived on time.
