This rug really bloomed after it sat out a few weeks. I did unroll it and vacuum it, to start the shah to come alive. This is a very nice rug that compliments my sitting area. This is more of a low shah and there has been no shedding or snagging.

-Great 20ft runner -Delivery was fast -Had to buy some rug tape to keep in place on wood floor -After unrolling it I vacuum rug to fluff it up and put something on the edges overnight to make them flat

I was looking for a single color shag rug for my living room and I found this gem! For the price, it's great!! I highly recommend vacuuming this rug as it brings it to life. Fluffs it up nicely! I 100% would buy this rug again if I needed it in another color for another room.

The color of this rug is absolutely beautiful, it feels comfortable under your feet, and adds the perfect pop of color and texture to space with a more simple color palette (gray, white, and wood in our case). I would highly recommend!

Cheap shag material made of cheap yarn from a craft store. I ordered a Snow White color and it came with a black base/backing so you can see black through the shag. Plus the shag is very sparse and not dense and all. I got it for my daughters room to play on with her toys so it’ll do but I would not recommend this in any other room in the house. Quality doesn't match price.

If you've never purchased this item before, its fine. However, I bought this to replace the same exact rugs I purchased 2 years ago. The quality is less, the fibers aren't as thick. The pile is not as long. It is really frustrating to now have 2 different quality and appearance in rugs next to each other because the manufacturer decided to skimp on quality. Extremely frustrating and disappointing.

I purchased the 8 foot and the 6 foot.6 foot rug was perfect. The 8 foot is not cut right. Only half of it is a true circle. the other half is all wavy. Very dissatisfied. i tried to load a few pictures,to show what I'm talking about, but it only let's me load one.

Will be returning and sorry i waited over a week to receive it. Didnt even bother to fully unwrap to immediately determine it was garbage

I requested this rug to put into our master bedroom at the foot of the bed so that we would have a softer floor to step on to when getting up in the morning and the many times during the night when we have to change or feed or newborn baby. So far, we have been pleasantly surprised by the rug since it hasn't gotten dirty as fast as we expected, nor has the shag fibers been torn away as easily.

It is soft and well made. It’s just what our hardwood floor needed. It makes the room more cozy and softens the acoustics. Will likely buy another for a bedroom.

This ivory area rug by Unique Loom is the closest thing to what I could call "plush" under my toes than possibly any surface I've ever stood on. This rug shipped rolled, folded in half then wrapped in plastic. I thought for sure that the seam of being folded would be visible for a long time but it was gone and no sign of it after two weeks. This is also the closest to what I would call an ivory rug than many which I would call tan or off white. Great work went into the edgings of these rugs and on the edges a non-slip strip is sewn in to insure tactile grip when lain down. Size is true from the stated. My only concern as ever is if this is put down over a wood or laminate floor that over the years all the micro scratches from the rougher backside actually scratches up the floor. I'm sure if your not putting this over carpet than this can be watched for and if needed a thin backing like the foam from like a floating floor underlayment put under this will cure that problem. I would call it a very tight, medium, plush area carpet that is well made. Though made in Turkey most of the best area rugs in the world are made in that part of the world. Yes if I have the need I would buy more of this brand in different sizes or colors as it's a keeper and with two months not a single curl coming up on the corners.

We got this online. Shipping was quick and it was packed nicely in heavy plastic. It was raining day it got delivered and rug did not get wet. There is edging on the back that seems to help prevent the rug from sliding. So far the shag is easy to clean and a nice looking grey. This rug however is not made in U.S.A. and was made in Turkey. We decided on this since its antistatic, doesnt shed and water repellent.

I LOVE the way this rug looks. I have always had very traditional rugs in my home, either a fairly short, dense pile rug or wool orientals, a mix of both.  I selected this  8' x 10' shaggy rug as a nice change; I like shaggy rugs.  For me it has a wild, but beautiful, artsy, playful, untamed feel; I love it.  The color is described as ivory; it as a light cream color, definitely not snow white.  It is a perfect, neutral color, won't show the dust/dirt like snow white would.  All edges are very nicely bound (see photo).  It also has a cotton backing; the pile height is 50 mm; the yarn is 100% polypropylene, hence colorfast, water repellent, STAIN RESISTANT (WOW!);  resists mildew & water damage, and is easy to clean; it was made in Turkey.  It reportedly won't shed. Polypropylene rugs tend to be less costly, hence I consider them especially ideal for those times/places where you don't want to invest a lot of money in a rug (ie. dorms, temporary housing, second home, when you are on a low budget, etc...).  I remember previously reading that polypropylene rugs are very durable, and I know they are water resistant, so I placed another rug of the same material right by the door of a main entrance.  There I know I am exposing it to a LOT of weather abuse in the form of wet shoes/boots, also sand, but I would rather eventually ruin, then replace, a less costly rug than one of my wool orientals.  It is also nice knowing the moisture will not produce mold or mildew since this material is water repellent. This rug is lovely... and again, with a "FUN" feel. I have no regrets in selecting this shag rug.  It arrives rolled up. Once unrolled, it needs a little time to relax so you no longer see where it was folded, but I expect that to be very short-lived; it also looks better with carpet padding beneath it which gives it a little lift, makes it's appearance more pronounced, also makes it more comfortable to walk on so your feet enjoy the comfort of sinking into it; carpet padding is also very inexpensive. In the end it is a very attractive rug which I think adds a lively, wild side to any room; I LOVE IT! If the pile was more dense, I would have given it a "5", but then I am not sure if it would look as wild and fun if it had a denser pile. I like a dense pile because they tend to last longer, but this material is expected to be durable. No regrets, I am glad I chose it.

This is a clean looking shag rug. The color is really nice and a soft ivory. The rug is a little thin compared to many others that I have purchased recently, however they make up for it with a really well crafted product. The stitching is seamless and they have added a border that I think will keep this rug together for a very long time. My only real complaint is that the shag is not a very soft, but hopefully after a few runs with the vacuum it will soften up a bit more.

Good value for this rug. It’s a nice cream color that is easy to vacuum on high carpet setting. It comes folded due to size but it’s easy to remove the fold crease since it’s not too heavy. It feels soft and of good quality. It’s also very cozy to lay on it and relax because it’s in my daughter’s room and she likes to lay on the floor to read so it’s perfect!

Love it and easy to clean

Pure Ivory is an ideal colored rug for placement underneath a bed or to frame a sitting area in the bedroom. It's a very pretty soft white and isn't quite as yellow looking like the picture from the manufacturer. I love it. A neutral base, such as this gorgeous Unique Loom Pure Ivory Rug, will compliment any decorating scheme in a variety of rooms. A mirrored coffee table would look so beautiful together with this rug.

Was looking for a rug to put under a couch in a great room. Bought this sight unseen based on what's on the HD website. It was delivered rolled up inside a plastic sheath. It unrolled easily and lays reasonably flat immediately. There is some curling up of the very ends of the rug which can take a while to flatten per the instructions. The issue I have with the rug is the coarseness of the shag pile. It looks much more dense and orderly in the website pictures. In actuality, it's longer, coarser and less dense than it appears in the pictures.

The pile on this shag rug is not very high. It is shag style but not too thick. I had to ruffle it up after removing it from the packaging because it was tightly packed. It loosened up after a couple of days. It is a soft neutral gray that can blend into any color scheme. It is soft to walk on with bare feet, which is nice. It is a nice size to put into a room to make a cozy sitting area.

Beautiful rug, ready to go, just unfold and set flat, it will flatten out in a day. This is shag, but not super long 70s shag The pile is about an inch deep and feels really nice underfoot. It doesn't hold pet hair, vacuums easily. A few passes and the pile jumps back up again. It does not get wound up in the vacuum cleaner like long shag can. Dimensions are spot on the specs. Backing is standard rug backing, thick, strong and will keep the rug flat and not allow it to roll up or bunch underfoot. It has nice taping along the edges that help hold it in place on the floor. I love the color, a nice off-white and the shag look gives it depth and dimension. Great for almost any decor, but it lends itself to more modern looks. This will work over short pile carpet, tile and wood floors. Highly recommended.

Unique Loom Solid Shag Cloud Gray 7 ft. x 10 ft. Area Rug This is for an older house with mostly Terrazzo floors. We recently got grandkids and wanted to make sure they had a soft good looking place to play. This is a well made carpet. Made from fibers that will last decades with proper cleaning and little UV exposure. Easy to vacuum with a power head. Lies flat. You may need an underliner depending on the floor surface. However a heavy coffee table or other furniture will do the trick as well. The neutral color goes with everything. It made the dog happy too. Great for the playroom or active family room.

This 7X10 solid cloud gray shag varies in gray tints as a cloud would. The shag is made of 100% Polypropylene dyed yarn but it is not as thick as I would like it to be. It has a cotton backing. It should be vacuumed often to make the shag stand up better. It comes rolled up so it is easy to install on your floor. At each of the ends is a rubber strip on the back to help keep it in place. It would be great if that strip of rubber was on all edges. We will be putting a pad under it to make it seem more cushioned.

we got this rug to put in our bedroom to cover the hardwood floor around the bed, it is much warmer and softer to step out on to and feels plush under your feet. the gray color of the rug is neutral and goes well with almost any decor and was a great addition to the room. the rug is made of polypropylene and is stain and fade resistant, the shag pile is one inch long and looks fairly thick. i would recommend putting a pad under it to keep it from sliding on the floor and to make it softer under foot. the rug was shipped rolled up and didn't want to lay flat on the floor when it was unrolled so i had to weigh the corners and one end down to get it to lay flat. considering the reasonable price of this rug the quality and appearance is good and i feel it is a good value.

This is the perfect bedroom rug. The Unique Loom Solid Shag Pure Ivory 8 ft. x 10 ft. Area Rug feels yummy on my bare feet and it fits nicely under my queen size bed. I love the look and feel of the 1.5 in. pile height and so does my family. The rug comes folded but the crease came right out with no problem. There was no curling on the ends so this rug was ready right out of the packaging. Of course, I opened it up right away and laid it out on the floor so it didn’t stay folded too long. The factory included a wonderful set of instructions and a ton of useful information about how to care for the rug. This is a nice rug and I am very pleased with it.

The Unique Loom Solid Shag area rug in Cloud Gray is a very nice, plain looking rug with a neutral gray color. It has a very thick, long pile, reminding me of an old fashioned shag carpet. It looks very coarse feeling but it pretty soft. And surprisingly, it doesn't jam up my vacuum like I thought it would, being that it has such a long pile to it. It rolled out pretty flat from the start. I had to roll the one end under the opposite way for awhile to get it to lay completely flat. If you're looking for a simple but nice looking rug, this fits the bill.
