It was more difficult to install than anticipated. The two mounting brackets are different sizes, so it DOES matter which one you put on the larger end of the rod. There are no extra end cap\cover plate screws, so be careful not to drop them while attempting to screw them in over your head six feet high with a tub wall in the way.Once installed, it appears to be sturdy and I expect it to hold up well. It came with shower hooks, but I purchased separate ones that just drop over the bar rather than being closed around it. Very pleased with the end result.

Had to buy special bits to drill through tile but installed easily. However, I was under the impression that it was surface mount held in place by tension or I wouldn’t have bought this one.
