We noticed that you ordered the light filtering blind model FHLD C06 1259, but the room darkening blind model number is actually FHCD C06 1155. If you haven’t installed the blind that was ordered, you can return it and order the other model.

Pretty simple to install but watch the video and have the right tools ready. Be patient and allow about an hour of time with no interruptions. Great shade...worked immediately and is completely room darkening.

Super easy to order the correct blinds for Velux. Also...
Super easy to order the correct blinds for Velux. Also loved how simple they were to install. We came up with a homemade extendable rod to open/close the blinds that works perfectly and easily. We LOVE the blinds and just wished we could have done it years ago. Helps keep our living room cooler when it’s super hot and we can keep the glare off the TV screen when needed.

The Velux Blinds for our skylights are perfect. We initially bought the light filtering, but returned them and got the sun blockers ! The remotes are so helpful. My husband rented a tall ladder and put them up himself!

skylights blinds would have taken 30 mins to install 2...
skylights blinds would have taken 30 mins to install 2 of them but i had molding and trim I had to around the inside of the skylight. Removal, installation, painting etc... took a 30 min job and turned it into 6 hours. Product is fantastic so far. Very happy.

Expensive but well made. I installed myself. Would be much easier to accomplish if it was installed before the skylight was. Especially since I had to do it from a ladder which was 14 feet off the floor, and at an angle. Other than that, I like the results.
