This is the second Vigo shower door that I have purchased. I didn't install the fiberglass pan. We had a little issue with the plumb of the wall and couldn't get the door to close properly. We ended up removing one of plastic seal strips from one of the fixed glass panels and silicone caulked the glass to the tile. Door closes perfect. Love the magnetic seal on the door.

My installer just finished the renovation of our ensuite bath and the Vigo shower is a beautiful central feature! It’s very good quality, feeling very solid and looks great! It gives a spacious feel to a small bathroom.

While we were impressed with the heft and look of the VIGA shower stall, we were a little daunted by the installation, which we attempted to do ourselves. It took a couple of tries to get it right. We've been using the shower for a few weeks now, and I really like it. It is perfect for our very small, log cabin bathroom.

The product is well made and the quality of parts are good. Some damage to seals related to the packaging. Replacements seals have been shipped The installation is challenging especially when installing the door and alignment to reduce or eliminate leaks . Recommend 2-3 people to assist with a vacuum suction cup . Vigo needs to improve written instructions / illustrations and provide a video (you tube) with detailed instruction for DIY installation .

After researching several options, I landed on the Vigo, and could not be happier. Strong design, very heavy duty glass, assembly was smooth.

Easy to install and very nice looking bathtub

The quality of the materials and the overall product is excellent. Very well made parts and high quality 1/8 in glass. The only part I would complain about is the difficulty getting it installed perfectly. Im a contractor and am not new to this sort of thing. But overall installation took about an hour and a half. Then another hour to adjust and tweak everything to get a perfect seal and so the door opens and closes properly. For most individuals I would consider hiring someone. If your mechanical then just take your time and be patient. Its worth the work in the end. Overall nice product.

The 3/8 glass is a great selling point for the product. Although it is heavy to install

The glass is very thick, 3/8 , hardware is heavy duty. Haven’t finished installing yet, so don’t know how well seals work. I DO wish VIGO would treat the glass to prevent water spots.

This enclosure is recommended to be installed by a professional. DIY'ers can get it done, but the level of effort and mounting of heavy glass is not for a first time installer. Finished product will not look like the advertisement pics, there are flexible clear plastic seals that keep water inside, and they are not shown on the web pages. Even with that, the quality of the glass is exceptional. I had issues with the hinges which took 2 weeks of emails and pictures to get resolved. New hinges are on the way, so this review may need to be updated. If I were to install one of these again, the first item to look at would be the hinges and ensure that they match in angle to the 135 degrees of the shower base. I believe my issue was a one off manufacturing error, and VIGO has been very courteous during the whole time. Tech support is in USA and real people answer when you call (East Coast hours).

The shower is beautiful. Installation wasn’t impossible but wasn’t easy. The instructions may have well been written in gibberish.

looks great, no problems so far; 2 months after insall

Best way to update a tired old bathroom. The glass is thick and strong and also the attached towel bar/ handle is a nice feature. Love the product. Product was very well packaged and no damage to glass.

This shower is beautiful and was what we wanted at a fair price point, however, I've had quite a few problems with it. First, when installing the plastic trim (to prevent leaks), the door trim was on backwards, so my plumber slid off the trim and as he did a large splinter of glass came with it. I was pretty surprised that it happened, the glass hadn't been misused or anything, and he wasn't ripping it off, I was standing right there as he carefully slid off the trim. I contacted VIGO customer service via email, no reply. Since the sliver is covered by the plastic corner trim, I decided to shrug it off, you can't see it unless I point it out. For a few showers, this thing was leak proof, but suddenly there is water getting through. NOTHING has changed. NOTHING. The leaks are coming from the bottom door hinges, which are covered by the plastic trim, but water is still leaking out. I don't know what else to do to fix it because it looks like it's covered, so now I have to call my plumber out here to look at it. This shower is really nice looking and if I didn't have these problems, I would have rated this item 5 stars and would certainly recommend to any friends looking to makeover their shower.

Installation instructions very poor. You really need to be an expert to install not for average homeowner.

Looks great - a little tight if you drop the soap; contractor installed it without complaint

Looks great in a small bathroom. Well packaged for shipping. High quality components and thoughtfully designed to provide a tight seal at base, walls and door. A level base is critical before installing glass panels. Very satisfied with the shower enclosure.

It is a beautiful glass neoangle. I suggest a professional installation if possible,

I bought this to replace an inferior shower that a previous owner had installed. I liked the look of the frameless, minimal enclosure. I also wanted a better quality base. The previous one was a flimsy fiberglass. This pan is a bright, glossy white plastic, much more solid than others I had seen. It will look great with tile. I also think it will be fairly easy to maintain. I am currently in the process of installation and so far no problems. I was even able to go up a size and use the 38" model instead of the previous 36" (Vigo makes both sizes).

I bought this two months ago and am now installing. Not done yet but everything seems to be going as planned

Excellent quality product. Pay close attention to the layout of the channels on the shower pan and level the glass panels carefully. The challenge is in getting the door to align and close properly with the magnetic strips in place.

So I bought this item 2 years ago. I wasn't ready for installation until two months ago. Everything was going smoothly until I noticed I had a blemish on one of the pieces of weather stripping. I contacted Vigo and and Christian got right back to me and said no problem we can replace that for you even though the warranty time had expired...So great support if needed, looking forward to finishing installation after I get my replacement seal. Really nice and important to know that in addition to being a really nice product the support if needed is there. Photo shows installation almost complete Thanks

Complete package with base easy to install looks great!

Excellent shower unit.my contractor said its better than Delta units that he usually installs. Hinges are well made and the base and walls are excellent. A little difficult to install but well worth it.

Love the shower, EXCEPT the glass shower door hangs too low and keeps hitting against the THRESHOLD. Really don't know how to fix it. Will call the manufacturer to see what can be done. I have tried using a hexagon wrench to loosen the hinges, pull the door up, then tighten the hinges again. Nominally helps.

I purchased this enclosure 6 month ago for bathroom remodel but started install it a week ago (busy is always an excuse). Unfortunately one of side panel was broken when I installed it in half when lean to the wall. Customers service Stephen took great care of my case and Vigo company agreed to ship me a replacement panel. Although I could argue that I don't know the reason it got broken since it broke its self but they decided to send me a new one as the team's curtsey. The team deserve a 5 star rating but I saved one because unknown broken reason.

I haven't installed the doors yet, but they are beautiful! I have been multiple pictures of them (and other doors) and these are by far the prettiest!
