Ok product goes on heavy straight outta the can. If it's not brushed out will Kringle dry. Sq footage not as labeled. Picked up another gallon from amazing at a lower $ and will thin that for a better flow and area. Would buy again? After the test of time

Used this product on wood fence last fall. Protects the wood, nice shine and dries quick. Want to put another coat on the 3 fence sections this spring. And have new landscape timbers that have weathered over winter that are getting a coat of this Urethane late spring or early summer. Nice shine to the product. Bought 6 gallons this year. Will buy more when they are done!!

Why I chose an oil based Urethane over the easier to use water base. I was looking for the amber tone that oil base Urethane's have. When you are re-coating a surface that has had an oil base varnish etc applied to it and some of the old coating has weathered down to the bare wood only an oil base coating will have the amber color in it to match as close as possible to the existing color. A water based coating will not have the amber color and you will get a finish coat that will be very blotchy in color. The only way to use a water based clear is to first apply a stain to match the existing color.

The urethane did a great job covering the wood and left a smooth and glossy appearance

This was easy on fast drying and produced an excellent clear shine for my patio wood bench. Had tried other product and none could withstand the California heat until I used this. Buy with confidence.

Easy to apply and can up, Two coats on my outside Redwood rails and he look brand new.
