All of the stain color markers are wonderful to "hide" all the scratches and chew marks our dog has made on our furniture. So much easier to use for touch up instead of buying a small can of stain. I love them and I would recommend them.

Color is even darker than it looks in the packaging. Should just be called a black marker.

Did not work as expected. It is labeled as a marker but when you try to use it, even after shaking as directed, it runs like a water base stain. Can’t use on vertical surfaces.

Did not fix the minor scratches in my floor. Scratches were topical and not at all deep.

That is not what we like to hear! Our Varathane Touch Up Markers contain actual wood stain, so they should only be used where the wood has been scratched through the stain. Surface scratches in the polyurethane are not suitable for this marker. The touch up marker will stain the wood where it was scratched, and the excess stain must be wiped from the surface to ensure proper drying. - Rust-Oleum Product Support 2

Had to return the product, it didn't work properly, when I pressed on it a little to start the ink flowing, the ink spilled out all over the place.

Marker's tip doesn't hold stain liquid but cause liquid squirted and splashed out suddenly. It is a nightmare to clean.
