Great product

By far I don’t see it as pictures...Whitewashed? By far not as in description

Did not have a red undertone which I was avoiding, just a the perfect dark brown!

Really like this stain color. It gave a nice finish to pine boards that inwas installing. A little goes a long way.

We recently updated a few things in our home, and one thing we wanted was a new bench seat by the front door. We purchased a sanded piece of 3/4" plywood and used the Espresso stain to stain it. I also refinished a high top and stools with it. I would recommend you buy some lacquer/ clearcoat veneer for it when you're done though. It'll look a lot better with some shine!

I reviewed the weathered oak stain earlier in my project and said it just looked blue on my pine table. However, after it fully cured and I added water based poly, it mellowed and looks quite beautiful.

It was an awesome turn out I built a wine rack for my wife. At first I thought it was too dark but I kept applying to the rest of the project it started looking better and plus it was my first time. So I finished the project and hung it up and surprised my wife and she loved it, she thought I had boughten it she was so shook

Color on picture doesn't match the actual color you get even one coat is darker than the picture.

This stain has got to be one of my favorites!!

Normally, I like this brands stains and I am happy with my color choices. I love the special walnut color. I decided to try this stain for a more modern look.This stain weathered oak looks nothing like the advertised color it is just a dingy Gray color not modern and not nice.

Stain looks beautiful after applying several coats. (The longer they sit the less you need to apply.)

We bought this stain on a whim and I LOVE it! We have been using it for so many different building projects. I love the deep color and you really only need 2 coats to make it look great.

Do not go by the color on the can. Try out several stain colors on your particular wood. I decided on this shade after 4 other attempts.

Deep rich color after only two coats. I let the stain set in for a few minutes before wiping off the wooden mantel.

Great product and finished perfectly

"Used it on one door mostly as a trial to try to color match with other trim work in the house. The color was perfect and I will be using it on other doors around the house. Simple to use and dried very fast, even in high level of humidity"

Application went on evenly, color came out just like I wanted.

This is 2 coats of provincial on birch. The table is 42”x42” on top and 30x30” on the bottom. I used about a quarter of the 1 qt can. I also used a wood conditioner underneath the stain, highly recommend for birch since it can be difficult to stain without blotches. I would purchase again

Beautiful red stain and looks wonderful in my home! I revived this old table with the sedona red and love how it came out!

I have always used varathane products before and loved them. However, I’m not sure what happened with the sample picture for their weathered oak stain. Whatever stain I purchased was significantly more blue/grey than what appears on the can’s picture. After looking online to see where I could have gone wrong, I discovered that the picture for weathered oak in their premium stain is a much more accurate depiction of the end product. How is there such a big discrepancy?

The color is so great! When first applied it scared me how black the stain was but once you spread it looks perfect. I had To actually stain about three times to get my desired color. My shelfs look so beautiful!

I used it to stain some light colored poplar boards for a bookcase. Wow, what a beautiful color. Really brings out the full glory of the wood. Spreads very easily and looked amazing after just one coat. Because it is such a thin stain make sure you have a rag on hand to wipe up what drips down the sides or you will see the drip marks.

Purchased the Classic Gray wood stain for our home made corn hole boards and they turned out great! I made a mountain design and wanted a gray/blue for the sky. This met our needs! I recommend using the color charts provided (hanging near the stain) to chose the color you are looking for, as depending on the wood used, may not look like the color picture on the can.

The wood conditioner along with this stain made my project an absolute beauty.
